We visited Ramsey Nissan after researching various used car models, prices and dealers online. We were interested in a mid-sized sedan for our daughter and had decided that the Altima represented the best car models, prices and dealers online. We were interested in a mid-sized sedan for our daughter and had decided that the Altima represented the best combination of price and features. Once we decided on the Altima we went looking for a dealership. We saw lower prices at some dealers but after digging deeper found that people had bad experiences with bait and switch tactics at the dealerships with the lowest prices. We decided that Ramsey Nissan had a decent inventory of cars, positive dealership reviews and competitive prices. At the dealership we met with Mike Swahla, who specializes in used vehicles. He was very friendly, low pressure and knowledgeable about the entire product line. We found and test drove a 2006 Altima 3.5 SL and decided we were interested. The price was low relative to the NADA and Kelley prices I had seen and the car was in great shape. The negotiation was easy, and with the 2.9 financing up to $10,000, it was a great deal. The finance guy, Fred Styka, was equally knowledgeable and low key. After closing the deal we asked to see a gorgeous 2006 Murano on the lot. We ended up buying this car the same day and got an even better deal on the second car relative to the NADA and Kelley prices. My wife and I were very pleased with the experience and would absolutely recommend Mike if you are interested in a quality used Nissan. More
Ramsey Nissan is a top notch car dealership! Robert Morath, helped me with the purchase of my 2006 Outlander. He was very professional, polite and HONEST. I was looking for a safe and reliable car for Morath, helped me with the purchase of my 2006 Outlander. He was very professional, polite and HONEST. I was looking for a safe and reliable car for my newborn son. Robert was able to explain the all the features, and pros and cons of each car I test drove and helped me make the best decision for my family. Furthermore, after I had made my decision to go ahead and purchase the car, he made the mounds of paperwork a breeze! Cheers to you Ramsey Nissan and Robert Morath! Thank you! P.S. Thank you John Creran for going above and beyond on working with me on the price of the car! More
I purchased a new Altima on October 20. I considered the Altima an option for my requirements based on the answer Ramsey Nissan provided about specific functional capability. Within 72 hours of purchase it Altima an option for my requirements based on the answer Ramsey Nissan provided about specific functional capability. Within 72 hours of purchase it became clear that Ramsey Nissan gave me inaccurate information about the ability of the Altima to support that function. If I had the accurate information I would not have purchased the car. I immediately notified Erik Slotnick that I wanted his recommendation for remedies to the situation, up to and including Ramsey Nissan buying back the car. I'm told by Erik that he escalated my request to the General Manger, Drew VanDurme. After about 10 days I was informed the only option Ramsey Nissan would offer is a $108 refund. To initiate the refund I had to go to back to Ramsey Nissan, to be informed a refund check would take a few days and be mailed to my home. More

This is the BEST Nissan dealership and experience I've ever had, and I've had Nissan's a long time! Jim DeGhetto could not have been nicer! We quickly came to a price agreement; usually, the length of tim ever had, and I've had Nissan's a long time! Jim DeGhetto could not have been nicer! We quickly came to a price agreement; usually, the length of time you spend in the dealership is ridiculous when it comes time for the financing, but they got me out in the one hour they promised me! That never happens! Jim went over everything with me before I actually took possession of the car, going so far as to set up my Bluetooth! I feel I've even made friends there, and will go up to visit and bring them some more of my apple bread! More

I have given a great rating because the issues we had were addressed and handled in a timely manner. Andrew was the person we dealt with the most in this purchase as he was the internet sales contact pe were addressed and handled in a timely manner. Andrew was the person we dealt with the most in this purchase as he was the internet sales contact person. My husband and I were apprehensive about purchasing a vehicle on the internet as we live in RI and would be purchasing a vehicle in NJ. Andrew was very pleasant, honest and helpful by answering any questions we had. He was very fair in what he agreed to give us for our van. The vehicle we were interested in was in the exact condition he stated over the phone. We can't say enough about how wonderful he was to work with. Diego assisted with the sales purchase and was helpful and pleasant. There was an issue with the antenna as it was missing and we could not get any radio stations to come in. We did not realize this until we got the vehicle home. Diego coordinated getting a new antenna, however the incorrect one was sent to us ( an imitation antenna). It became somewhat of a hassle working with the company who sent it. However, in the end Andrew coordinated us getting one from a local dealership and even paid for it himself! That is going above and beyond for customer satisfaction! One other issue of great importance was the registration. In RI the vin check needs to be done with an original title and the dealerships handle this before the sales agreement is signed. My husband and I were unaware of this and my understanding was that some officers are sticklers about the original title. Fortunately, they did the vin check for us. My husband had to drive the vehicle with no registration for about a week and a half. The finance department expedited this matter once the vin check was done and overnighted the registration to us. In the end, we understand things can happen, but it was how the issues were responded to that made the difference. We want to thank Andrew and Diego for everything. I love my new vehicle! More
The Ramsey Nissan Dealership provided us with the professionalism, advice, and excellent service that we had been searching for as we began our "car buying" search. When I saw these reviews and comments, I have to say I was skeptical. How could a car dealership be THIS good? I live in south jersey and took the chance and drove an hour to this dealership. From the mom was skeptical. How could a car dealership be THIS good? I live in south jersey and took the chance and drove an hour to this dealership. From the moment I walked into the front door, I was impressed.. Arriving around lunch time, the receptionist was very professional and set aside her lunch to assist me. No sales rep was available so she found Eric (the sales manager) who promptly found me a sales rep (Jim). My first time there, Jim spent 2 and 1/2 hours going over the xterra with me. Specs, options, test drive, estimated trade-in, looking up financial offers, the whole nine yards.. and all the while, there was no agreement that I would make the purchase. He wasn't pushy or forceful like you would expect a car salesman to be. Very down to earth, understanding and would work with you. I left that day with all the information I needed to think about the offer and talk to my wife about it. We went back the next day and ended up purchasing the vehicle from Ramsey. But the professionalism didn't end once you agreed. We went to see the financing guy, Tony Lee. Boy, he's some piece of work.. in the good sense. He worked to get us multiple offers from different banks, working out different APRs with different scenarios with and without the rebate. Didn't force us to buy any additional "options" that usually jack up the price. Overall, the staff at Ramsey is courteous, professional, humorous and knows when to be witty to ease an other-wise tense situation when making such a large purchase. In fact, we even got two recommendations on where to eat around the area from Jim and Tony (we loved both locations). Would I go out with these people for a round of drinks after work? Damn right I would. Would I recommend this dealership to my own mother? Damn right I would. More
The reason I went with Nissan, after all other the other cars I had looked (I had even gone to other Nissan dealers) was, Sam Sierra. He went that extra mile to make sure everything I needed was taken care cars I had looked (I had even gone to other Nissan dealers) was, Sam Sierra. He went that extra mile to make sure everything I needed was taken care of, and that I had no questions unanswered. The price of the car was also kept right in the ballpark of what I was looking for. I love my new car! I have before owned Nissans and was in a HORRIBLE accident with one of them! The car flipped and rolled 3x and slid on the roof for about 50 feet or so. I was able to walk away and with little damage to myself. In about 3 weeks or so was able to get out of the house and back to work. The car was totaled but it saved my life! There was NO interior damage. The only way you new the car had been in that type of accident was external and that the airbags deployed. I wish I could do a comercial for Nissan! hahahaha More
