first purchase form a dealership always bought cars from private owners in the past. but this time went to several dealers in search of a pick up. craze fees and " let me talk to th always bought cars from private owners in the past. but this time went to several dealers in search of a pick up. craze fees and " let me talk to the manager " moments. came to Ramsey Nissan and was lucky enough to run into Dennis T who was in for what ever reason on his day off. found us the perfect truck. it was like buying for a family member. saw to ever detail. truly met the dealership goal of treating us as someone would a guest in their home. oops almost forgot the finance dept. ! we paid cash but where offered some extended warranty options with we didn't buy. no problem, no pressure. thanks for that ( hope manager is ok with that). sorry can't recall the gentleman name. The gentlemen that helped me from the service office was hor Jenny I think her name was at the front desk was super wonderful and nice, and the service techs themselves were super helpful. The one bald older gentlemen with the office by the service personnel was very unwelcoming and nasty.. and after telling him how I purchased and rebuilt the engine myself in my car, he insinuated I was a “repo man” and that he wasn’t giving me keys because he doesn’t know if I just stole th car off the street... That isn’t how you should ever speak to a customer. There were so many ways he could hav told me the policy, instead he treated me as if I were a criminal, telling the lady “don’t give him the keys till we have a copy of everything” right in front of my face. Everyone was great except for him, he never introduced himself so I do not know his name .. but he has the first office on the left when you walk into the service center. I have owned Nissans before and love the cars.. but he really turned me away from wanting to return to your dealership. More
An average experience from start to finish I brought the car in for basic services as well as a more intricate problem. Everything was appropriately addressed from a mechanical perspective whic I brought the car in for basic services as well as a more intricate problem. Everything was appropriately addressed from a mechanical perspective which is a baseline of average that I would expect from any dealership. To differentiate an average from a good or excellent dealership I evaluate two things. 1) How were the communications and 2) how were the little things addressed. On those 2 items I can only give a mark of average. For example, no one contacted me for the several days the car was in the shop with a status report which would have been appreciated. As another example, when I checked my fluids I noticed that nothing had been topped off, my antifreeze fluid level was at the lowest level of normal just as I had brought it in. More
