Great Experience I had a negative experience with Ramsey Dodge/Jeep several years ago, so I was very hesitant to visit them again. It turns out the dealership has cleaned up its act. I had a surreal car buying experience dealing with Michael Kurtz - he is not a pushy salesman in the least bit. We sat down, talked like gentlemen; I told him what kind of deal another dealership had offered me on a Durango Limited, and he worked with his managers to offer me a great price on a new Durango Citadel. His managers, and the finance department were also very helpful in coming to an agreement. I left my current vehicle there for service (two recalls) overnight , and the car was completed early the very next morning. So I am also impressed with their new and improved service department. I am very pleased with the vehicle, and could not be happier regarding the service I received from Michael Kurtz and Ramsey Dodge. I am not sure if management has changed there in the last few years, but this was an amazing car-buying experience. More

Awful experience all around, Sales and Service. Never again! I purchased a used Chrysler Town & Country from there just over 2 years ago. Me and my wife were told that they have loaner cars, which was an attract I purchased a used Chrysler Town & Country from there just over 2 years ago. Me and my wife were told that they have loaner cars, which was an attractive feature, so we purchased it that day. Well, I drove to work, it rained that night, and when I get in to go home, I find out the interior is soaking wet, and then the check engine light goes on!! I brought it to the dealership that Monday, and Service nonchalantly said, yeah, the rails need to be cleaned out. No apologies, or anything for the inconvenience. The check engine light, they said they just started it about 30 times and then it went off. Really?? Wasting my starter and not actually fixing this issue? I still have this same problem 2+ years later! A week and a half later, I brought it back due to vibrating brakes, car pulling to the right and change engine oil light came on. Service then told me that most roads aren't actually flat, so it may pull one way or another. Again, REALLY? I've been driving for over 20 years, I think I know when the alignment is off! They supposedly changed the oil, and adjusted the brakes, only to find out at my regular oil change place, which I've been going to for 20+ years, on the next scheduled oil change 3k later, told me the oil was really black!! I brought it back to the dealership for more brake issues and the black oil, and told them there was no way they changed the oil when they said they supposedly did and whatever they did last time to fix the brakes, did not work either as it was still vibrating. The service rep's response was, that some vehicles need oil changes more frequently. Seriously?? I've change oil on thousands of cars, and not one I've ever taken care of, did it have to be done more frequently than 3k miles. Manufacturers recommendations are generally 7,500 miles, but generally everyone changes it every 3k obviously. This, with only putting on 3,500 miles on the car!! When I asked about getting a loaner car until they fixed the issues, they told me it would be 2 weeks before one was available! Once again, REALLY?? Altogether, I brought the car there 4 times to fix things on a Pre-Certified car, and they only documented 1 previous time that I was there. Think they were trying to get around the Lemon Law? All in all, the salesman was awful, service department was awful, service management were awful. I will never go back to that place again. I have since found another dealership that is complete opposite of Ramsey, which is in Rockland county on route 304. Service is great, they are attentive, pencil you in on last second repairs when they can, and extremely courteous. More

BAD SERVICE THIEF'S WORKING THERE I HAD MY TRUCK FOR SERVICE AT THAT PLACE. MY CAR HAD TO STAY THERE FOR COUPLE DAYS. WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK ON MONDAY COUPLE OF MY CONTRACTING TOOLS I HAD MY TRUCK FOR SERVICE AT THAT PLACE. MY CAR HAD TO STAY THERE FOR COUPLE DAYS. WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK ON MONDAY COUPLE OF MY CONTRACTING TOOLS WAS GONE. THE ANSWER FORM THE MANAGER WAS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE CAMERAS AND IT IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM.
