I scheduled an appointment online which was seamless. Within minutes I got a call to confirm my appointment & loaner vehicle. Upon arrival to the dealer the following day, I was greeted promptly by valet and the wait time to see Katie was minimal. I presented a service coupon to her & I explained to her what my vehicle needed and it was taken care of in a straight forward & professional matter. Within minutes I was given the loaner & off I was. The service was completed earlier than expected & I got a call later in the day stating that the vehicle was ready. I usually keep my car in great condition service wise & I was not presented with expensive, unneeded upsell work compared with other dealers in the area I have been to that try to upsell services to you that the car does not need. When my husband called the service department this morning, they told him the car has been ready. He never heard back from Kenneth Vachris. He took the train and was supposed to be picked up at a nearby train station. They never returned his calls for pick-up and they kept redirecting him to the wrong numbers and voicemails. Since this is the only dealership for Smart cars on LI, they behave anyway they want with the owners of such cars. Avoid this dealership, especially Kenneth Vachris. More

Being a young woman; you hear the stereotypical stories of being taken advantage of by slick, fast talking car salesman. I can honestly tell you John Kunar thankfully showed my the exact opposite experience. He was kind, knowledgeable and best of all....non pressuring. When I wasn't sure what I was looking for he showed me options he thought I'd be interested in, made me take the test drive of the C300 so I could be sure I liked it before I bought it, and when I needed more time to think before this big commitment....he completely understood and let me do things on my time. Working overnights and sleeping during his working hours, John patiently took the time to answer all my questions through emails. When I finally bought the car, John spent at least a good half hour sitting in the car with me, showing me all the features and making sure I knew how to use them all. He made me feel like I can contact him with any additional questions even after the deal was made; it never felt like he was just trying to make the sale. First off, my salesperson John Kunar was definitely the best salesman I’ve ever dealt with - ever. I’m 51 years old and have purchased a Ford Expedition, Mazda MPV and Honda Accord. I have leased an Infinity G35 and G37, BMW 3 Series (twice) and now leased my second Mercedes C300. I have dealt with over 7 different sales people and John was by far the most courteous, knowledgeable and professional guy that I ever had the pleasure of meeting. He went through the entire leasing agreement from A to Z without sounding bored or rushed yet we were able to get through it at record time. He answered all my questions in a very thorough and friendly manner. Going through all the bells and whistles of my new vehicle was awesome. John explained it all to me in a manner that can only be described as "animated enthusiasm." His passion for doing this job is immense and quite frankly contagious.
