Matt and Tom should manage all Ford service depts! My 2015 Ford Explorer at 42k miles or so had a fuel pump go bad. I was going through inspection on our soon to be home. Not knowing any of the littl My 2015 Ford Explorer at 42k miles or so had a fuel pump go bad. I was going through inspection on our soon to be home. Not knowing any of the little shops in the area, I decided to go to Purvis Ford. They covered the repair even though the warranty had recently expired and within a week I was back on the road. A couple of months later unfortunately the fuel pump died again. I was about 45 miles north of Purvis and had it towed to Sheehy Ford. Sheehy first tried to sell me on a battery for someone else's car, then tried to also get me for a battery on my vehicle. Then they figured out the pump went bad and it was covered under warranty...Suddenly I didn't need a battery anymore. In the process of replacing the fuel pump, Sheehy burnt the harness going to the pump. They refused to cover it and charged me 545.33 for a new harness and labor. Then there is the matter of a dent in the rear of the vehicle and the fuel sender on the new pump was not sending fuel level info and the gas tank was never sealed back up. Ultimately Matt (Greatest service guy ever) and Tom (Best Service manager) of Purvis had me pay the bill and assured me they would get it refunded. As soon as I could get my vehicle from Sheehy (Still broken) I drove down to Purvis to get things corrected. Matt and Tom went to war for my family with Sheehy and Ford to right the wrongs of Sheehy Ford. This weekend I received a check from Ford and no charges for the work Purvis had to do to get me back on the road! I know dealerships are pricey, but it isn't too often you find people willing to go out of their way to make sure a customer is made whole. That is priceless in my book! More

Took it into Purvis at 7:30 but by 12:30 hadn’t heard anything. I called and was told mechanic was at lunch but would call when he return. Called a second time when an hour pasted and talked to Troy who told me the mechanic drove my car and couldn’t find anything. I insisted when I turned left the car made the grinding noise worse. Troy called my wife at 3:00 and said they found the problem. What if I hadn’t insisted it had a problem? Another thing, other dealership wash your car after service - even an oil change. What’s up with a Purvis? The positive is my car is fixed. More

6 Hour Oil Change My oil change and inspection took 6 hours. I made an online "appointment" and was told 6 hours later that that is really a "check-in" not an appointm My oil change and inspection took 6 hours. I made an online "appointment" and was told 6 hours later that that is really a "check-in" not an appointment. I was told they have to push 150 cars through a day and therefore it would be impossible to make an appointment. Even though this is not disclosed on the website and it actually says "appointment". My car smells so strongly of gasoline today I am having trouble driving it. And after looking at the receipt they replaced my oil with synthetic, which I don't use. They did not even ask me. This was the third car I bought from Purvis and the last. Service is important. I will get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube from now on where I am in and out and treated like the most important person they've seen all day. More
