I had my CarMax quote on my matrix and did lots of research before I took it to trade in anywhere and this dealership was mentioned to me by multiple people who had amazing experiences and told me how sincere and helpful staff is. As much as I dreaded stepping foot at another Toyota dealership, the power of word to mouth convinced me. It has been one of he best decision I have ever made and I have Ron Landin to thank for it. I explained the situation I was in and how I was desperate to mainly not have to deal with the orange county dealership ever again regardless of how upside down I would be and he gave me my options, made recommendations and his personal idea of what the best and worst thing I could do in my situation. He said that I should go shopping with him because I was a great negotiator (LOL). Sim Luu finalized my paper work and he was a funny guy that kept making me laugh. I was looking for a 2014 Tundra limited in a specific color and trim when I came across Puente Hills. Most of the dealers here in San Diego didn't have what I was looking for or didn't want to negotiate so I decided to call. I ended up speaking with Scott Petersen and within five minutes he assured me over the phone that they had what I was looking for and for the right price so I took a chance and drove up the next day. When I arrived they had the truck prepped and waiting. Scott set me up with Armando Puyolt and he was a pleasure to deal with. He made sure I was comfortable with everything and even made sure that all of the apps in Entune system were set up before I drove of the lot. I have to say that I was a bit sceptical at first that the deal was a bit too good to be true but Puente Hills did not disappoint. More
