If you want to avoid such incidents , I suggest internet sales. You may potentially eliminate the middle man. Second, know your credit score. Equip yourself with the knowledge that you are a credit-worthy buyer. If you fall in the category of having excellent credit, anywhere from 700 and above, you essentially have the upper hand. Third, never state your budget. Of course if you are looking to purchase a specific car, then state the car you would like but do not give a dollar amount. Also do not state how much you are willing to pay per month! Internet sales is the place to conduct business because you can search inventory, coordinate a meeting and have your vehicle parked out front waiting for you. As a buyer you are able to negotiate the price of your vehicle except Scion vehicles because they have a "pure price". I have to say that Mike Luna and Ron Landin are the best when it comes to customer service and making the car-buying experience worthwhile. Other than conducting business, both men are down to earth. We need more people like these two! More
