I would highly recommend him if you are looking to buy a car from this dealer. Ray has a great personality and made my experience very enjoyable. I kept waiting for him to change things up, try to add in a bunch of bogus costs and fees, make excuses and try to bait and switch me on the car, etc. None of this ever happened. I kept thinking that this was too good to be true! My next thought was that I would get the pressure from the finance department. After dealing with the finance manager, Ted Collins, I couldn't have been more wrong. Ted was professional and has an awesome personality. While he did strongly suggest many options that made sense, such as Lo-Jack, extended warranty, etc., he didn't make me feel uncomfortable at any time throughout the process. I have seen other reviews on this site that are negative. Most of them seem to be from people that have no idea how the process works, or that have really bad credit and have expectations far beyond what they qualify for. Do your homework. Know what the dealer cost is on a new vehicle. Buying a used car? Certified pre-owned? Check at least a half dozen dealers and get internet quotes. Ask for the out the door price. When you go in, and the out the door price matches what the paperwork says, you're done. Summary: You want to buy a Toyota or Scion? Talk to Ray Alvarez and request Ted Collins when you get to the financing part. I could not be more pleased with them both. More

Was interested in the Scion FRS, and submitted my information to an online website regarding my interest. At the time I was at another dealership, about to sign the contract for a SCION FRS purchase, but was hesitating over price. When Ray called, I was immediately interested because he was able to offer me a newer model for much, much less. His estimates of prices were pretty accurate. I ended up leasing a car, with intent to purchase after the lease is up. The entire process was quick, easy, and Ray was very helpful and nice. I didn't feel like I was getting jipped on price: it was fair and information was readily available when I asked. It was my first time working with a dealership, and could not have been more pleasant. THANKS RAY! THE CAR IS BEAUTIFUL! :) More

I felt that Armando was very genuine in wanting to help me find a car that fit my needs and was the best deal for me. Armando is very knowledgeable with Toyota/Scion cars especially the hybrid technology and specialty packages. He thoroughly explained all of the features on my car of interest and took me on a test drive. I learned many new things that I did not learn from my own research of the car and was very appreciative of his detailed demonstrations. Armando never tried to push to sell but instead showed me the quality of product and great deal that was presented to me. He then let me make my own decision and encouraged me to research other competitor's cars to compare and see how great of a deal I would get with his car. In the end, I was sold on a certified used Prius III with solar sunroof and advanced technology package. Armando went above and beyond during my encounter with him. We had spoken over the phone over a span of 3 days and he was nice enough to follow up with me each time I called him. Mr. Puyolt even stayed late to help me setup my phone with the car's bluetooth and thoroughly explained how to use certain features I was unfamiliar with. I greatly appreciate Mr. Puyolt's assistance and courtesy to his clients. I have had bad experiences in car buying and I would like to say Mr. Puyolt gives superior service and truly cares for his clients. I give him an A++++ rating! Mr. Kenny Chan helped me with the signing of the contract and all documents. Mr. Chan was courteous, respectful and very nice to work with. He thoroughly explained the contract in detail and all of the options available to me. He was able to make me feel comfortable in a situation that can sometimes be stressful. I greatly appreciate Mr. Chan's assistance and would highly recommend working with him along with the Puente Hills dealership. It's very refreshing to come into contact with such nice and helpful people and not feel pressured into buying. Thank you again, Armando and Kenny. Had an appointment with Greg Kern, talked to him a few minutes and he passed us on to David Cervantes for a test drive of the car I wanted. About 30 mins of running the usual paperwork/credit checks and approvals, we were ready to go. Off to finance to finish up the last of our paperwork, and got the keys to my brand new Prius plug in. In and out in about 3 hours. Probably the quickest sale from start to finish I've been involved in. More
