Service is first class and they go out of their way to assist. Mohamad Mayassi was my salesman and he spent weeks finding me the exact new vehicle I was looking for, He found it with all the options I needed, and the colors my wife wanted. Perfect car found by a hard working, personable, and professional salesman. Mohamed is a pleasure to deal with. This was the second car we bought from him. We also worked with Tony Rutherford, the Sales Manager. He went out of his way to insure that we were well treated and got the best deal possible and all the Lexus special offers available. Great guy who gave super advice. All in all, I would recommend Charles Barker Lexus, Newport News to anyone looking for a new or used car. The level of service is above and beyond that received at any other dealership. They do not try to upsell and deal fairly. I responded to an internet ad of Barker’s listing a GX with an MSRP ~$54,000. In order to see Barker’s “discounted price,” one had to contact the dealership. I did. Barker’s salesman responded that the di with an MSRP ~$54,000. In order to see Barker’s “discounted price,” one had to contact the dealership. I did. Barker’s salesman responded that the discount would approximate $7,000. He then indicated that the MSRP was over $58,000! When I corrected him he told me it was a different car. I checked: same VIN. When I spoke with the manager, it became a “mistake.” Dishonest dealership. Avoid. More
