The emails I sent to Virginia Beach and Newport News were ignored for some reason. However once I contacted Mark Davis at the Newport News dealership he made things happen. Then I had the opportunity to work with Mohamad T. Mayassi to close the deal on the purchase of a Certified Preowned 2011 Lexus ES 350. Working with these two gentlemen and acquiring this vehicle was my dream come true. Other folks I spoke to while at the dealership were also friendly and warm. Customer Service I took my 2015 RX 350 in for its 5,000 mile service. The staff was wonderful, however one individual went above and beyond. When I picked up my car I asked to speak to someone about a spot I had on the car. They sent Matthew Goodwin, from detailing out to speak to me. I asked him if he knew what I could use to remove the spot, which i thought was tree sap. He looked at it and said that was was it was and he noticed a couple of other minor scratches on my car. He asked me if I had 10 minutes and I said yes. He took my car and not only removed the tree sap he got the scratches out. Thank you for having such a wonderful team working for you!!! More

So my service consultant gave me a call stating hat the car was ready and that she knew that I lived far away, so I could pick it up on Saturday. I was just amazed at the great job that of the service team. Especially after dealing with Casey BMW for a year, now that was a nightmare. Anyway if you need some work done ask for Lillie stanfield, she's the best. More

Purchased 2012 Lexus ES350 used by dealer as service loaner. Salesperson Khalid initially quite helpful but became irritable and arrogant when issues immediately following delivery became apparent. New loaner. Salesperson Khalid initially quite helpful but became irritable and arrogant when issues immediately following delivery became apparent. New finance manager unable to answer basic questions re payments anr very arrogant. Sales manager Thomas Cahoon extremely arrogant, requiring us to seek assistance from lexus corporate to get small cosmetic defect discovered 12 hours after delivery fixed. Car delivered with small rear bumper primarily cosmetic issue discovered morning after delivery. When reported, Khalid initially tried to be helpful by checking with his manger - presumably Cahoon. During phone call with Cahoon, Cahoon stated that deal was so good (it was) that there was no money for him to do anything and that anyway we had purchased the car "as is". Not true as a certified preowned with 3 year warranty. Neither he nor Khalid knew what the marks looked like nor did they take the trouble to have us come in and show them. We are not exactly sure when the marks appeared but it was before delivery of the car. After extremely nasty conversation, a threat of arbitration and phone call to Lexus customer support line at California HQ dealer agreed to look at the car. Once again service triumphed over sales. Car taken to service manager on 5/31 where cosmetic was greatly improved and where the service staff could not have been nicer. A good omen I hope for future service. The sales experience was the worst I have experienced in narly 30 years of buying luxury brands including Porsche, BMW and Acura. More
I have purchased many vehicles, I have good stories and bad. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car! From begining to end! When I first stepped on the lot, Khaled greeted me, he was bad. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car! From begining to end! When I first stepped on the lot, Khaled greeted me, he was extremely friendly and not pusshy or phony. I had already done research on the car I wanted. ES 350, the standard model. He showed me every car on the lot and we test drove one as well. I was certain about the model, color and payment that I wanted. But Khaled changed my mind, he showed me the more expensive model on the showroom floor the Luxury model with all the bells and whistles. He detailed all of the features and told me the advantages of owning one. So now I own one, with no regrets! The dealership didn't have the interior color available so that's where Thomas stepped in. He found the exact color, exterior and interior and promised to deliver by the end of the month. He advised me of my payments, He did that and called me a thousand times to let me know what stage the delivery process was in (excellent customer service skills). He told me the EXACT time when the car would be ready...and it was, when I arrived it had a big red bow on it! I took many pictures and put them on Facebook and all of my military friends are aware of the EXCELLENT service I received. The entire Lexus experience was great! Thank you Lexus! Sonja L.
