I went originally looking for a pre owned vehicle and ended up in a brand new car with only 10 miles on it and some plastic still on the interior, I couldn’t ask for anything better. Cedric Hurston was more than helpful and fully committed to helping me find what suited me and fit my needs best. I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman. More

I arrived at 8:25, parked my car in the garage, and stood there, waiting for someone to acknowledge me. After waiting until 8:35 and watching different employees talking and drinking coffee or water, I finally asked someone if I was in the right place. "Oh yes, we'll take care of you in a minute." So they finally asked why I was there. Several months ago, my "engine malfunction" light went off. I went to Auto Zone and got a FREE diagnostics test that told me that my rear oxygen sensor needed replaced. Took it to a mechanic, he replaced it. Engine malfunction light went off again in a few weeks. I took it back to him, and he said that the software wasn't properly reading the new oxygen sensor, and that they couldn't update the software--only a Honda dealership could. So, I scheduled an appointment at Priority Honda. Big mistake. So I explained all this to the guy (Chandler) that took my info. I asked him how much to update the software. He said either $61 or $131. I said, "Wow! That's a big difference, and seems like a lot for a software update. I hope it's only $61." He said he'd check with the technician and come and let me know before they did anything. So I sat in the waiting room. And sat. And sat. Chandler didn't come and update me. Nobody did. Finally, after 1 hour and 45 minutes, a guy (either Rick or Rich--I wish I would have gotten his name) came and announced that they were ready to tell me that my car was ready. I followed him to the cash register. He said they did a diagnostic and that my rear oxygen sensor was faulty. I told him that I didn't need a diagnosis--that I needed a software update. He said that the technician said my car's software was already updated. I said so then I shouldn't have to pay anything, right? He said, well we had to do a diagnostic test to see why the engine malfunction light was on. I told him that I already know the diagnostic says my oxygen sensor is faulty--I've been to Auto Zone twice, and they diagnosed it for FREE both times and told me the same thing. And I had it replaced by a mechanic and he told me the same thing as well. I told him I didn't want to pay $131 for something I already knew about, and that I was told it might be $131 for a software update, NOT a diagnostic test. He said, "Well, it's $131." I told him that I'm sorry if I'm irritated, but asked him to put himself in my shoes. and whether he would think it's unreasonable to pay $131 to pay for test that I can get for FREE at Auto Zone, and that I came in to get my software updated. When they told me it didn't need updated, then what am I paying for? I told him I didn't feel like I should pay, and that I don't want to pay. He just looked at me. I asked him what happens if I don't pay. He said, "We have your car keys, and you won't get your car back." Well, that's great customer service. Fantastic. I looked at the receipt, and it says that they recommend I get my oxygen sensor replaced. For over $400. I told him I'm not replacing the oxygen sensor, and that I'll pay only to get my car back. I paid the $131, grudgingly, and they brought me my car. It was washed. So I feel like I paid $131 for a car wash. Thanks Priority. I won't be back. And I'll let everyone I know about my experience. We serviced our Priority Honda's in New Bern, NC when we were stationed down there, and they were fantastic with customer service and always gave us prompt, reliable, and reasonable service. This experience was precisely the opposite. More
***Priority not such a Priority (Please Read)!!*** I purchased a car recently, I was so dissatisfied with the level of care I received during my purchase. So much so that I hate my car more and more ev I purchased a car recently, I was so dissatisfied with the level of care I received during my purchase. So much so that I hate my car more and more everyday. One day after purchasing my vehicle I asked if I could return the vehicle because I no longer felt like it was for me as a result of poor handling during my initial sale. I asked to speak with countless managers and was given the run around at every inquiry. The entire process was exhausting. I finally spoke with a manager and he asked in short how much would it take for me to keep my vehicle. I wanted to say “0” and hand back the keys but I shared my concerns and went against my gut instinct and kept the vehicle after I was told that the dealership doesn’t take back vehicles after purchase. Many other dealerships give you at least a 24 hr “trial”period. NOT PRIORITY! Priorities for life= Ponzi Scheme/Rip off Furthermore the priorities for life are a total GYP. Free oil, free filter and free state inspection all with the intent to make a sale on car service. Each time your car receives “service” before picking up your vehicle priority gives you a list of issues with your vehicle that would require your immediate attention. So you say “oh don’t worry I have priorities for life and I’m sure the work is covered.” Well, you couldn’t be more wrong. Priorities for life only takes care of the issue after you have already paid for the part and service/issue once. In other words if you have an issue you pay for the repairs initially, if you have that same issues again it would be covered under priorities for life. But rest assured the oil change is free after discovering $500.00+ worth of work each visit on your vehicle.! ***Dealership fees=$699.00*** Even if they mention waiving the fee please pay close attention as they will redistribute to another area. Lastly use your better judgement if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck more then likely it’s a “P******* De******ip” Helpful tips for you. 1. Shop around first, don’t feel obligated or pressured into anything. They need you more then you need them. 2. Never pay more then market value 3. Don’t get the “Wrap Around” warranty the explanations are very vague and in reality it’s a smoking mirror to have more “service” done to your vehicle. 4. It’s ok to walk away 5. Leave a review with the BBB about your experience. Don’t let the mani/pedi, latte and massage chairs relax you into a bad deal. Online car sales are super transparent, and the best option In my opinion or no haggle dealerships. Happy Car-buying and May the games ever be in your favor. More

Wonderful Experience with Jeff Waugh I cannot say enough good things about working with Jeff Waugh at Priority Honda. This was my first experience visiting a dealership to buy a car and I was nervous about feeling pressured by a salesman into buying something I didn't want or couldn't afford. Jeff was extremely responsive via e-mail and text so we were able to sort out most of the details before I even arrived at the dealership. He greeted me at the front door when I got there and we got straight to the test drive. He was able to answer all of my questions and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Truly cannot say enough good things about working with Jeff and would absolutely recommend that you request him before going to the dealership. I am extremely happy with my car, the service, and the price. More

Of course I had to deal with the regular stalling to negotiate an agreed price. After agreeing on a price and signing papers, I was left sitting for an hour and a half, just to pay for the vehicle. I was told 10 or more times I was next and it would be just a few minutes. There was at least 15 employees sitting around gossiping, it was apparently a very slow afternoon. But not one person in the place could take cash or swipe a credit card so I could get out in a timely manner. Salesman definitely had an attitude, even told me he didn't care if he sold me the truck or not, because the price was low. A person would think that would be more incentive to get you out of there quickly. Stay away from this dealership, if you expect to be treated with appreciation and as though your time is important. And for the 699.99 service fee, they should throw in a year of oil changes and an extended warranty. Or at a minimum, make the customer purchase process a priority. Thanks for immense aggravation Un-priority Honda. More
