If you know me...or even if you don't.... it's possible you've heard/read my ongoing rant about how terrible my experience at Pride Seekonk was 3 year If you know me...or even if you don't.... it's possible you've heard/read my ongoing rant about how terrible my experience at Pride Seekonk was 3 years ago when I walked away in a lease (and the worst deal I've ever made in my life). As my lease was finally about to end, I figured I was stuck in this car that I absolutely hated. I went in for an oil change and decided to talk to someone about buying it out due to my severe mile overage. Here's where I met Roy. Roy quickly understood I hated my car but felt obligated to buy it since I was so screwed by the lease terms. He asked if I'd be interested in buying another one instead... YES YES YES! I really wanted the Elantra Hatchback, described my ideal package (leather, sunroof, navigation, etc) and 5 minutes later I was sitting in my dream car. Every single thing I asked for and more. We tried to work it out, but it became obvious I have champagne taste with a beer budget. Roy worked with me for hours, taking me into the back lot where he knew the inventory like the back of his hand. I got to see which cars were in my budget and test drive a couple. In the end, he got me into the hatchback I could afford and put me at ease by helping out with the lease return. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles I was looking for, he even figured out how to add leather seats (my number one must have) without pushing the price over my budget. I am so happy in this new car - and everyone I know loves it too! 3 years ago I swore this place off. However, they gave me a service package so I kept going there for my oil changes. They're service department is ace- and totally the reason I even sat down with Roy and didn't run to another dealership. This time around was such a great experience and I will not only return when I'm ready to buy my next car, but also highly recommend Pride (and Roy) to anyone looking. I also want to mention the finance guy (sorry I can't remember his name) was really lovely and down to earth- not pushy and really took the time to explain the different warranty options in a way I could understand. An all around great experience I had a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and the payments were really starting to hurt for reasons that I won’t bore you with. I had originally contacted Co I had a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and the payments were really starting to hurt for reasons that I won’t bore you with. I had originally contacted Courtesy Hyundai to see if they could lower my payment on a new car. After about three days, I began to get impatient and called Roy in sales and explained my situation to him. After only 16 hours or so, I got a call back with an approval for payment that was approximately $250 lower than what I was paying, I was truely amazed. Roy is one of those rare salespeople that is a true professional in every sense of the word. Not to take away anything from the rest of their staff, they were all very helpful, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend you seek out Roy if your in the market for a new vehicle. You won’t be disappointed.... More
