We were illegally told by Rory Renzi, a tier one sex offender in Virginia, that we were required to buy a warranty contract in order to finalize our financing. I would stay away from this seller as their salespeople are not following ethical and legal sales practices. They also over charged us $2,000 above the listed price on their website, and added a $1,500 appearance protection charge. We were not made aware of this until several days later when we were emailed the TILA documents. We have attempted to reach out via phone, text, and social media outlets, but have been ignored or insulted. Premier Automotive has been reported to the OAG, MVDB, BBB, and we have contacted lawyers to get our $3,500 back. More

Do not let Dealer aggressive deceptive, misleading tactics scare you. Deceitful low price Ad and change paperwork later to make Sales Tax and fees non inclusive. Not giving enough time to review all papers and numbers. In 2024 end, I bought a Tesla from Premier Automotive. There was a listed base price on both Autotrader, and their paperwork Premier was to process with DMV with clear title. When received title it was in Premier name and did not pay Sales Tax or processed thru DMV as promised an increase we didn’t realize until the title transfer adding thousands to price. You can complaint with following: - • Office of Attorney General- Consumer Protection (Email-consumer@oag.stste.va.us) • FTC- Consumer Section (Site-consumer.ftc.gov) • Motor Vehicle Dealer Board- DROP- (Email- dboard@mvdb.virginia.gov) • Small Claims Court or Gen Distt Court Filing • Media or BBB Not only your case but to request VA Attorney office to review all cases or cars sold by this deceptive used dealer. Their sale practices and modus operandi were at least deceptive and at best fraudulent. More

I am deeply disappointed by the unethical and deceptive practices I experienced at Premier Automotive, specifically with their salesman Ethan Ranberger. My nephew was physically present at the dealership while I assisted him remotely via phone, and the entire process was riddled with issues. Deceptive Financing Practices: Ethan failed to disclose essential financing terms, including a shocking 20% APR, until I explicitly asked over the phone. When I inquired further about financing options, Ethan became hostile and evasive. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and indicative of deceptive business practices. Unlawful Retention of Funds: My nephew provided a $1,400 deposit for a potential purchase. Despite no transaction being finalized and no paperwork being signed, the dealership refused to return the money. Ethan claimed the cash was locked in a safety deposit box and unavailable, and we were told to return later for a check. This behavior is unethical and a clear violation of basic consumer rights. Hostile and Retaliatory Behavior: When my nephew requested his deposit back, and I followed up over the phone, Ethan became hostile, hung up on me multiple times, and ultimately ejected my nephew from the dealership. This behavior was unprofessional and further demonstrated the dealership’s lack of integrity. Premier Automotive’s actions have caused significant frustration and distrust. Their deceptive practices, refusal to return funds, and unprofessional treatment make it clear they prioritize exploitation over honest customer service. Advice to Potential Customers: I strongly urge others to avoid Premier Automotive. This dealership does not operate in the best interest of its customers and should not be trusted. More

My wife and I have never been hung up on by a sales person when all we were doing was discussing options and figures. I never used profanity, never spoke negatively about you (personally) in anyway. Sorry if I scared you in any way. I really didn't mean to, Sir. All you had to do was continue having a descent adult conversation to hopefully reach an end sale like we did last year. This is an awful, deceitful place that ripped me off. I unknowingly bought a vehicle service contract from AmeriPlus for $3.6k. When I tried to cancel AmeriPlus, AmeriPlus told me the vehicle service c I unknowingly bought a vehicle service contract from AmeriPlus for $3.6k. When I tried to cancel AmeriPlus, AmeriPlus told me the vehicle service contract was never funded, which means Premier Auto Group might have kept the entire $3.6k. Also, I got four bad tires which failed the MD inspection, and they never agreed to cover. I had only driven 400 miles since buying the car, and the MD inspection place said the tires were bad. When you buy, make sure you don't get their vehicle service contract. Manager Muncy is awful. This place seems to be okay with ripping off customers. I will let you know how the lawsuit goes. More

Bought a Toyota Corolla from them early 7/2024. Car was listed as having a minor front accident two years ago. After purchasing vehicle and driving back home realized the car brakes up on its own o Car was listed as having a minor front accident two years ago. After purchasing vehicle and driving back home realized the car brakes up on its own on the highway due to damage to the collision sensor. There is duck tape below the bumper. One (hopefully) of the tire pressure sensors needs changing. Both headlights are broken which affects the focusing of the headlights. These are just the issues I have found in a few days. Their fix for all is to use the service contract that they sell to fix the damages. After speaking with the Toyota dealership locally they have been able to highlight several concern areas around the car including paint run marks and the car being buffed over. They also were able to highlight the slight difference in paint color on the rear bumper. All of these issues with paint difference, paint run and buffing would suggest that there was other issues outside of the minor accident fro two years ago. There is a difference between selling vehicles with minor damage and selling vehicles that have clear safety concerns. At some point, hiding behind the cover of 'ohhh, it is buy as is' will not be enough to absolve Premier Automotive of Dumphries VA of the unethical business practices. Future potential customers, take the car to a mechanic or bring one with you. The guys that work here are really good at what they do. More
