Worst customer service I've ever experienced I went in to this dealer to look at a pre-owned 911 turbo. I had worked with the sales manager, Dave, previously when he was at Audi of Tysons. I had I went in to this dealer to look at a pre-owned 911 turbo. I had worked with the sales manager, Dave, previously when he was at Audi of Tysons. I had a great experience with him that time around, so I was very confident that I would have a positive experience this time around. I sent an email to him when I found the car, and asked for more information about it since it hadn't been posted yet. I sent the email late on a Sunday, but Monday morning I heard back promptly. We emailed back and forth a bit, I got the information I needed and decided the car was worth coming in to take a look. Dave set me up with a CA named Rick and he and I test drove the car. During the test drive Rick takes a call on his cell, kind of rude in my opinion, but whatever maybe it's business. He then starts to raise his voice on the phone, so I assume it was a personal call. Whatever though, I'm young-ish (28), so I figue he just thinks I don't care. I finish up my test drive and then spoke to a service tech about the car to find out what kind of work they did to it when it arrived. The service tech was awesome, very thorough with me, and answered all my questions. He even took me to the service bay to put the car on a lift so I could check out the undercarriage. Up to this point, I was still pretty much ready to make a deal. I had already been pre-approved for a loan through my credit union, but I was talked into filling out a credit app because of the dealer's "strong connections" with banks. After about an hour of waiting, I still had no news in regards to the credit app. I told Rick that I needed to get back to work since I had already been there a few hours. I asked for him to let me know once he got an update. The rest of the day went by and I heard nothing back. Tuesday comes around so I shoot an email to Dave and ask if he heard anything about my application, but received no reply. Wednesday I send another email to Dave stating I hadn't heard from anyone and still did not get a reply back. Thursday - still no response from Dave -starting to get annoyed, so I email Rick and cc Dave. Neither one thought my emails warranted a response I guess, because tomorrow it will be a week since I've seen the car and they decided I wasn't worth their time to send a simple email response to, or to call when I was told they would. I don't work in the car business, but I'm pretty sure that's not the way to sell a car. Maybe they feel like they were doing me a favor by even showing me the car, but it was a pretty disappointing experience to say the least. I had high hopes working with Dave and never really expected to be treated so poorly. This experience soured the dealership for me. In their eyes they must have thought that they were doing my a favor by gracing me with their time. I walked out expecting to return the next day, but clearly they're not interested in earning my business. More
Just bought my sixth car in fifteen years from Pat Fifteen years ago I started looking at Porsche, after visiting several dealerships and getting the typical "attitude" I stopped at Porsche of Tyson's. Fifteen years ago I started looking at Porsche, after visiting several dealerships and getting the typical "attitude" I stopped at Porsche of Tyson's. I was connected with Pat Driscoll, who was down to earth and a straight shooter. He had the product knowledge and practical experience to put me in the right car for me. Since that time I have bought a total of six cars from Pat. Still today, Pat remains the only car sales guy worth working with. Having owned other premium car brands over the years, I have given up on the most of the others as the car buying experience with them is just untenable. When I am in the market for a new car, I reach out to Pat and tell him what I am thinking. Pat always brings to the table the right recommendations. Too often sales guys want to sell you something they have on the lot, with other places they refused to find the inventory and the car I wanted, instead offering reasons why I don't want the car I came to buy. Pat has always been exceptional at finding the right car, even if they don't have it on the lot. Always great to work with, the process from reviewing inventory, test drive, finance, and getting out the door is always pleasant. Each time I buy a car, I review my options and typically visit a few dealerships, ask around with friends, and then end up calling Pat. In this most recent time, we rented another car and drove it on a two thousand mile road trip. We came home and three days later my wife said, why don't you call Pat. We had put 160k miles on our Cayenne S and had been looking for about six months at what we wanted to replace it with. Once again, Pat and Porsche of Tyson's delivered. The finance department was pleasant and efficient. In my early twenties, I bought my first BMW and I offered the finance guy an option at my loan, he referenced that "mommy and daddy" would have to co-sign (not cool). At the time I already had my own financing and was buying the car myself. I have never been treated that way by Pat, anyone in finance, service, or other employee at Porsche of Tyson's. They expect to provide exceptional service and they deliver. We tend to drive a lot, 20-30k miles per year, we typically buy new, and keep the cars for 150-200k miles. Porsche is a staple in our garage not because it's a Porsche (sure that's cool), but because the cars are fun to drive, practical, and they last. Sure you get occasional annoyances (like with any car). But dollar for dollar, the experience of owning a Porsche has always been the right one for our family. This all starts with Pat Driscoll, who is an exceptional person who happens to be a great sales guy that I will continue to buy cars from anytime I am in the market. More
Worst experience buying a car in 55 years, and I have bought a lot of cars. Went to purchase my first Porsche (Panamara 4), the car was sitting outside and was dirty for test drive. No big deal. Fell bought a lot of cars. Went to purchase my first Porsche (Panamara 4), the car was sitting outside and was dirty for test drive. No big deal. Fell in love with the car and purchased it. When I went outside for delivery the car had substantial scratches and chips. Sales man tried to say it was was glue. The car was also very dirty. Yes this is how they tried to deliver a 100k 2014 Porsche. They took the car back to clean and buff, did a half xxx job and brought the car back to me in almost the same condition. I should have took my trade back and left, my bad. I refused the car, excepted my 2nd/3rd option in color and paid more money to replace the car I bought and wanted ( stupid yup ). The sales manager offered me a free upgrade to the wheels and tires that I wanted on the original car (nice offer), he promised to call me the next day to schedule the exchange. To date no call! The delivery by the salesman was rushed and very incomplete! Then the salesman sends me a email to make sure he gets all great marks on his review from Porsche. What an terrible experience ! More
I just upgraded my Porsche Boxster to a new 911 from Porsche of Tysons Corner. I also bought my Boxster from Tysons Corner and remember it was one of the best car shopping experiences I had. Brian Kim Porsche of Tysons Corner. I also bought my Boxster from Tysons Corner and remember it was one of the best car shopping experiences I had. Brian Kim the sales manager and Rick Schatz really made the experience fun and very personable. Both Brian and Rick seemed extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. They really make you feel like part of the Porsche family and why I went looking for them when I was ready to upgrade to 911. Even after the purchase, Brian kept in touch via email to see how I was doing and how the car was. I felt like if I had any questions or problems with my Porsche, I could reach out to Brian anytime which I have and always received prompt response. Now that is great customer service! I keep telling all my family and friends, if they are interested in purchasing a Porsche, go to Tysons Corner and ask for Brian and Rick. Steve More

The dealership was extremely respectful of my time. In contrast to the typical 3 hours to buy a car, this was a 30 minute visit, including finance. My wife and I had an exceptional experience working with Pat Driscoll and Brian Kim in our lease of a 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera. Coming from the BMW brand we were very hesitant. Pat made us feel comfortable, Pat Driscoll and Brian Kim in our lease of a 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera. Coming from the BMW brand we were very hesitant. Pat made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions, and was very knowledge of Porsche products. Being a loyal BMW owner I never even looked at Porsche until my first visit to Porsche of Tyson's Corner sold me into the Porsche brand. Although Porsche of Rockville is less than five minutes from my home Pat's professionalism and honesty brought me to a conclusion that working with the competition was not required. Feeling confident that dealing with Pat was the right choice my wife and I decided to purchase our 911 right on the spot. To wrap up our exceptional Porsche experience Pat provided both my wife and I with test drives and explained the 911 thoroughly, Pat cleaned our car himself during delivery and in particular even met me near my home and out of his way for us to work on paperwork and explain our 911 in more detail. In my honest opinion Pat is the reason going forth that my wife and I will be long time Porsche customers. More
