So I will combine our experiences in this one review. We had been scouting around for a Macan S and had stopped by another dealer. We were told that due to the high demand the vehicle would have to be ordered with at least a two to three month wait. I also had the impression that because it was a Porsche and in short supply, nobody really cared whether or not we bought anything. So we left disappointed and still looking. On a whim we pulled into Tyson's Porshe, and were greeted by Rick Schatz. He pointed out SEVEN Macans on the lot, one of which was exactly what my wife wanted! After test driving again, the transaction was done quickly and efficiently and she drove home a gorgeous new Agate Grey MacanS. It was one of the best sales experiences I have had. We came back and bought a beautiful 911 Carrera 4S from Rick. He was knowledgeable, patient and personable. The managers and Fernando Acoya, in finance knew their business, were friendly and explained the process easily. They answered my calls, emails and questions promptly and professionally.. The 911 was a wonderful find, well priced and well equipped. A fair deal all around. I would definitely recommend that you shop other places, then come to this dealership last before you buy anything. More

Put deposit down watch another drive away (HAD VIN # on DEP) This afternoon, my husband watched a vehicle -Macan S- he had put a non-refundable deposit on last week (SIGNED PAPERWORK INCLUDED THE CAR'S VIN NUMBER) be driving away by another customer. YES, he was there to pick it up and he waited 3 hours and in the end went home without the car that was his. WHAT KIND OF DEALER DOES THIS? Maybe the other person paid more? I get that but you don't have a signed document WITH VIN NUMBER and watch car leave the lot with someone else driving away. HOW IS THIS ETHICAL? Forget legalities for a moment, how did he put a non-refundable deposit on a specific car, have it come in and then see it given to someone else? Their solution - offer us a car we have to now wait for with a lousy upgrade of 20" tires. Seriously? After this breach of ethics? How can Porsche and this dealership be trusted. Ours salesman shall be unnamed at this time but if you private message me, I will show you our paperwork to back up my claims here....deposit info with VIN, the car listing with options we were cheated out of and the other car offered with the whopping 20" upgrade and long wait. Laughable. If we would have tried to back out on accepting delivery of this vehicle because we got it cheaper in Florida or any other place, we would have lost our deposit of thousands of dollars. There is an unfair double standard here where the customer is a victim. This dealership deserves zero stars but I had to give it one to post this review. How can you have a legally binding contract and have it broken in the blink of an eye and accept that? No one should be treated like this, especially a cash cash customer! Porshe of North America should be ashamed of this dealership and what they represent... Again, I'm happy to share our paperwork with anyone who asks to prove this story is true - photos, too! It was an exceptional experience due to the efforts of Pat Driscoll (sales rep), Brian Kim (sales manager), and Chad Morrison (service manager). These folks are exceptional for the honesty, effort, responsiveness, courtesy and follow-up shown me during a 2+ month buying period. Pat Driscoll's brand knowledge and responsiveness is outstanding, and his obvious pride in Porsche, and car care knowledge is well known by his clients. He is very easy to work with. Brian Kim was exceptionally involved in the ordering, and follow-up process, keeping me up to date, and answering questions as they came up. I have known Chad Morrison since 1997, and my personal experience with him is that he will move "heaven and earth" to ensure that service is proper and complete. Chad is the reason I went to Porsche of Tyson's. He is without question an outstanding service manager, and his management style, long Porsche experience and brand knowledge have resulted in an outstanding and responsive service organization.
