The entire team at Pohanka Honda of Fredricksburg was amazing. I was the recipient of the 2011 Susan G. Komen Happiness is Finding a cure raffle at Kings Dominion. The Prize given was a 2011 Honda Civic which was provided by Pohanka Honda. I received the call that I won on Aug 22nd and since then I've been ecstatic about the car. I was so happy that I lost my voice for a whole week. When I called the dealer was greeted and congratulated by Greg Altman. He was very professional and polite. We arranged a day and time for me to come in and every two days he would call me and remind me about the ceremony. i was planning to bring my mother, brother and one of my co-workers but i ended up only bringing my brother. When I arrived after a 2 1/2 hr 135 mile drive from Norfolk,I was greeted in the parking lot by one of the sales associate( i sad that i cannot remember her name but she was awesome too). I explained to her who I was and she took right inside to the Anthony Alston, who immediately showed me to my car which was sitting in the middle of the show room with my name one it. I was hiding behind my brother (he is taller than me) the whole time because everyone was staring at me and congratulating me as I walked closer to my new car. I was then introduced to Greg Altman who then introduced me to the lady's from the Susan G. Komen office of Richmond (Again i apologize but i cannot remember there name either). Then I was introduced to the rest of the staff at Pohanka. We took pictures, videos,and then was presented the keys for my car. While they prepared my car for me to take home we were toured around the facilities and were allowed to eat and drink. Long story cut short the management staff and sales staff was amazing and I appreciate everything they did for me. Even as I left they were awesome by showing me how to work the car. More

Customer service was outstanding. Both Mike and Maureen went above and beyond what was expected of them. The last time a bought a new car was six years ago and the tactics were certainly different back th went above and beyond what was expected of them. The recent experience I had buying my fit at Pohanka was completely the opposite of what I remember my previous car buying experience to be. The Pohanka team was courteous, friendly and respectful. Bill Hunt is an asset to Pohanka Honda. Drove from Charlottesville for a new vehicle from hearing high regards about Pohanka. Excellent experience. We just came from another dealership and is was a completely different atmosphere. Ken was very friendly and helpful when Maureen had to work with other customers.
