I was quite satisfied with my purchase until I subsequently found out that Tim Willis, Sales Manager, had lied to me. I was trading in an '09 Civic that had sustained very minor bumper damage whe subsequently found out that Tim Willis, Sales Manager, had lied to me. I was trading in an '09 Civic that had sustained very minor bumper damage when scraped by another car in a parking lot. The damage was repaired, but unfortunately picked up by Carfax. Tim Willis informed me that this Carfax report was like a dark cloud of Mordor hanging over my vehicle, that it really devalued it, and that because of the Carfax report, there was no way that they could sell the vehicle as a Honda Certified Used vehicle. Mostly because of the latter, I accepted the low-ball offer on my trade-in. Imagine my surprise when a week later I discovered my vehicle for sale & certified as Honda Certified Used Car. I can accept some small degree of deviousness & deception from a car dealer. But out-right lying is unacceptable. On a positive note, I want to say that most of my dealings with the dealer for this purchase were with Juanita Murphy. She was great to communicate with, very patient, and pulled no punches. Had Tim Willis, Sales Manager, not lied to me, I would have rated this dealer all 5's and recommended them based on my experience with Juanita. As an add-on to this review, I received this likely canned response from the dealer, and nothing further: 'Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg wrote on 8/23/2012 4:10:09 PM: I am Ray O'Bryhim the General Manager for Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg. I take the Dealer Rater reviews very seriously and I am looking into this matter.' Seriously? How hard could this be to look into? More
