I spent a fair amount of time researching cars and prices in advance. Fortunately someone mentioned to us to check with Honda of Fredericksburg if we were looking to purchase a new Honda because they were pr in advance. I do most of my "legwork" via the internet and was pleased they had a fully-enabled "click to chat" feature from cars.com to Pohanka. (Some dealers show as "online" but don't answer the chat). That was our virtual introduction to Tamika Morefield, who was our internet sales representative. She was outstanding to deal with in every way - personable, entertaining, patient, and she dealt with me fairly and honestly every step of the way. Buying a new car can be a stressful experience but she made it fun! We got what I felt was an outstanding deal - in fact the dealers in my area (Northern Va) tried to convince me they were giving me a "bait and switch" price and the actual price would be different when I arrived. Well guess what - it wasn't. They committed pricing upfront that I was satisfied with, and that was EXACTLY the deal I got at the end of the day... no games, no surprises. Sometimes surprises can be fun... not so much when buying a new car. I had other dealers quote lower prices, but then when you peel the layers of the onion, they exclude destination fee, their "doc processing fee" (code for additional dealer profit) and they've thrown in active military discounts that you can't actually get unless you are active military. If you are in the market for a new Honda and are anywhere within 50 miles of Fredericksburg, I urge you to check out Pohanka Honda. Ask for Tamika - you'll be glad you did! Eric More

They not only couldn't beat the offer at another dealership--they wasted a lot of time in the process by hemming and hawing instead of simply admitting that they were unwilling to do so. I left feeling frustrated, impatient, and as though my time had been wasted. I feel like this had more to do with the manager than with the salesperson. Doug was actually quite nice. I highly encourage anyone who would like to be treated better to go to Rosner Toyota--they have the best deals in town and their process is efficient, smooth, and great. More
