I must say Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg gave me again the greatest service. This is one reason I always go back and tell others in my family about the service. Mr. Hamilton, my sale rep was very personable, answered all my many questions, went the extra mile as to take care of finding and selecting the vehicle I wanted. I loved the fact that he never tried to pressure me into a new car but listened to what I was looking for and took care of it. Most importantly to me, He was very considerate to my grandson (16 years old) who is purchasing my other Honda CR-V 2002 from me. He treated him as a young man with such respect. Mr. Hamilton spoke and advised him with pointers about the CR-V he was about to own. My grandson stood tall. Tamika and Sabrina were awesome. Sheer waste of time, efforts. Do not trust their internet department. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THE QUOTE THEY GIVE YOU. I was working with the Carlo Rubio from the internet department. I have multiple emails fro department. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THE QUOTE THEY GIVE YOU. I was working with the Carlo Rubio from the internet department. I have multiple emails from him confirming the price, and the date of purchase. We drove from Richmond to Fredricsburg to buy 2014 Odyssey EX L RES. Carlo was insistent that he will give me the price that he quoted. We reach there and we were told that Carlo was not in the office. Maureen came out of the building and said that Carlo is not there but she will honor whatever Carlo has committed. I confirmed... Are you sure and she said - Yes. So we went around to pick the color. We finalized one. We test drove the vehicle and said we wanted to buy it. She looked at the price and said I cannot do it. I don't know how Carlo committed to it... Jeez... It was your team member you should know it... Don't waste my time. She said that she would have to talk to the manager. And she was out for a long time. She came back and asked me for a competitor's quote that Carlo was trying to beat and I gave her that. I also told her that we were going for lunch and if we do not hear back favorably by the time we were done with our lunch, we will go back to Richmond. She called me 10 minutes into the lunch and said her manager wants to talk to me. I asked if you guys are ready to give me the car on the quoted price and she said my manager has worked out the numbers. Her Manager Kingsley Kwakye, probably the worst sales person ever, came out and said that he cannot match the price. All of us were furious. He opened up the price sheet and said that this is the price sheet that he has. I told him about the discounts that are not included in the sheet and he said yes those are not included. He was ready to haggle the price with us and did not give us the price that he could have sold the vehicle for... He said it was my employee who was at fault.... We all knew that and there was no point telling us that one more time... Every time we asked for a reason, he blamed his employee... kudos to his management skills. Finally, he offered us gas that we wasted by driving from Richmond to their dealership. I will actively let all my friends, family, colleagues and all possible social media know about my experience at this honda dealership. More

No games, no "tricks". I had also gone to other dealers near my house and the experience with Bill and Pohanka was on a totally different end of the spectrum. No pressure, no pushy sales pitch - he also got me an even better model for a much better price. He even followed up with me the next say to see how everything was going. I told him I loved the car He assured me I could call or text him anytime if I had a question about the car since there are so many features to it. He connected my phone to the car's system before I left, showed me how to use some of the main features and off we went. Most pleasant car-buying experience I have ever had. This was my third Honda purchased at various dealerships in the MD/VA area. I did my online research, reached out for internet prices and then pursued my best price via e-mails. After comparing apples to apples, Carlo Rubio at Pohanka Honda gave me the best offer. When I came to the dealership, he listened to me... and after a few twists (accessories, car color), he closed the deal. After the drive away, he followed up when I asked questions. He's an energetic young man who will go the extra mile to make your purchase experience as good as it should be. After all, why should "car buying" be perceived as such a stressful, agonizing chore. Cliff Jackson, co-internet salesman, provided initial knowledge of the dealership, service department, vehicle on the test drive of CRV and a much-needed cup of coffee. Kudos!! More

He got everything started quickly and made what can often be a long, painful process into an easy and very pleasant one. He helped us out A LOT on the price (as it is the end of the model year) and stuck to his word. No games, no "tricks". I had also gone to the dealer next to my house and the experience with Bill and Pohanka was on a totally different end of the spectrum. No pressure, no pushy sales pitch - he also got me an even better model for a much better price than what the other dealer was offering. Bill has sold cars to many people in my office and everyone had nothing but great things to say about him. He even followed up with me the next say to see how everything was going. I told him I loved the car but sadly a pebble had hit my windshield driving home and caused a little ding and Bill offered to call someone to help me fix it! That's customer service!
