My husband and I visited Pohanka to check out the 2013 Accord. We were still in the browsing stage and hadn't made up our minds as to whether we wanted to trade in our sedan for a new sedan or our SUV for Accord. We were fortunate to have Bill Hamilton as our sales consultant as he offered several different options to us at the dealership. We appreciated his patience as he knew that we were not ready to make a decision. My husband and I left the dealership questioning what type of vehicle we would purchase and when it should take place, but knew for certain that Bill would be part of the deal. When Bill followed up with us several days later, we were happy to report that we had made a decision. We decided to go with an SUV but with an Acura. Since Pohanka owns several different dealerships, one being an Acura, Bill was able to get the exact vehicle that we wanted. The whole buying experience could not have been any easier. We communicated via email, texts and phone. Bill went to the dealership in Chantilly and picked up the vehicle for us. When I arrived to pick up my new vehicle, it was parked right in front of the showroom doors with pink balloons and a Mylar "Happy Birthday" balloon. In passing, I had told Bill that my husband and I had set out shopping for a new car as a birthday gift for me. This goes to show you how Bill goes above and beyond what we expected in our sales consultant. I have purchased many new cars, but I can say that my experience with Pohanka and Bill Hamilton have been the most favorable. More

My last vehicle was a 1999 Ford van. After almost 15 years, I decided it was time to do some research and make a buy. My main focus this time was gas millage, safety ratings and rate of repairs. After visiting several places, I went to Pohanka Honda of Fredericksgburg. There I was met by Judaea Horn and the rest is history. She understood my needs and provided me the information needed to make a wise decision. After doing a test drive and taking a few days to make that decision, I was sold on a 2014 Honda CRV. I am very happy with my choice. I am amazed with all the storage inside this small car and the way it handles. It has all the extras one could need. Bottom Line, I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. My sales consultant, Judaea Horn, was a great help to me in making this important decision. She is very patient and committed to doing the right thing. She is truly an asset to Pohanka Honda. More

Judaea Horn was the sales associate with whom I spoke when I first called about the car -- she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. I never felt rushed or pressured, and she and the service department did all that they could to make the car perfect for me. A number of times Judaea said that she wanted me to love the car and be happy with my purchase, and I can honestly say that I am. Thank you, Judaea!! More

He did not use tactics, game or pressure, helped me be informed to make the final decision. And I was definitely a picky, meticulous and persistent customer. Also, Joseph Rafanello at the Financing Office was very competent. We got the paperwork and all explanation done within less than 20 mins. After all, I left the dealership with a beautiful, new CR-V EX more than I had expected with a satisfying purchase price and a strong good impression of customer service and sales from Cliff and his team at Pohanka. Overall this dealership was very pleasant to deal with and the staff were very friendly and helpful. When it was time for me to test drive he did his best to tell me what he knew of the car, and it was understandable he didn't know the car completely since it was not a brand he is used to selling. The buying process was smooth and Richard did his best to speed things up since I was there until after closing. The major factor in me rating this dealer 4 stars out of 5 is the fact that the salesperson did not inform me he would be drilling two holes into my car. Before I took delivery I noticed the car did not have anywhere to mount the front license plate and the whole front bumper was smooth (which I would have preferred to keep it that way). After delivery, I noticed that my salesperson had DRILLED two holes into my front bumper for my license plate and also put the license plate on too tight to where it scratched the bumper. As a car enthusiast, I take pride in how every part of the car looks, and it infuriates me that he practically ruined my bumper without my permission. I had planned on buying a mounting bracket for the license plate, so it wouldn't ruin my bumper. Now, looking at prices online, I'm going to spend $400+ easily to replace what he shouldn't have done. I understand most people would not care if you did this, but it would be nice to ask before drilling into my new car. More
