In my review, I wrote we liked him so much that on the way out my husband said Gordy would be seeing us again. WELL -- fast forward to April 7, 2017 -- we walked into Plaza looking for Gordy. Luckily he was there (though I have him in my phone so if he weren't we would have waited another day and I would have texted him). We told him we were researching only. He printed us a listing and then left us alone to walk around the dealer. We saw an F150 we liked and asked him for the keys. As we test drive, Gordy and I catches up on life the last 2 1/2 years like long lost friends (it's true). We talk about other interests and life happenings and there is never a sales pitch vibe pressuring you to buy with a guy like a Gordy. He knows people are smart enough to know what they want. Needless to say, we loved the truck and STILL LOVE GORDY 2 1/2 years later. You won't regret visiting Gordy at a Plaza. Our second experience with Gordy Ford was as awesome as the last -- I don't think he can ever retire, well not until I have to buy another car in about 4/5 years. While waiting for our settlement appointment, (a 6 month ordeal), we did quite a bit of pre shopping before the appointment to turn the car in and knowing we would be buying the day after the buyback. With our 2nd car also needing replacement, our search was for 2 cars. Of all the dealers we visited, Plaza Ford, with Gordy and Hugh handling all the details and investing their time on a sale that wasn't going to happen for weeks to come and no promise of a sale, was a no-brainer. When you visit most dealers and they realize you aren't buying the same day, most give you a card and quickly retreat. Or, they try the high pressure, commit now or lose out routine. I've always believed in the trust your gut theory. My husband and I can tell in five minutes if we are comfortable with people or not and we let that feeling guide us. A first impression, good or bad, can determine the road you choose to take. The impression made by both Gordy and Hugh, led us to a good place. Gordy and Hugh invested their time in a possible sale. A sale that they knew, was not going to happen immediately and there was no guarantee would happen at all. Then they did everything they needed to do to put us in the cars we wanted with payments we were comfortable with. And they did it all without pressure or making us feel like we were playing a high stakes hand of poker. Gordy and Hugh are the real deal. Genuine, and honest customer service that is very hard to find. We cannot recommend Plaza Ford, Gordie or Hugh highly enough. And if their service department is half as good as the sales department, we will never buy a car anywhere else. More
