I purchased my 2024 Forester at the end of May 2024. Salesperson Bronson was great. I have no problem with the salesperson, but 4 months later,......About noon on October 1, 2024 I was headed home to pa Salesperson Bronson was great. I have no problem with the salesperson, but 4 months later,......About noon on October 1, 2024 I was headed home to pack my vehicle for a trip to Ohio the following morning at 6 AM. The last stop for me was the Ocean First Bank drive through banking kiosk to make a transaction. At that time my vehicle was hit from the rear while I was in the drive through kiosk and changed my entire thought process from getting home to pack the car to "what do I drive to Ohio?", and "what do I do with my car right now?" Being that my car was only 4 months old with about 2,000 miles on it I was pretty upset. 2) Being I have AAA I called them to tow (flatbed) my car to the dealership where I purchased it. I knew it would be safe there. The AAA representative asked me if I needed a rental car and advised me that they have a discount agreement with Hertz and a Hertz facility was just 100 yards from the dealership, Pinebelt Subaru, they were taking my car to. 3) This accident was the first accident of any consequence that I've ever had in 60 years of driving. Being upset at the time of this accident is an understatement. 4) When I returned home, and after thinking about it, I knew I wanted my car to be repaired at the Lester Glenn Subaru collision repair facility in Toms River, so I opted to have it towed there from the Pine Belt repair facility. When I got there to make sure my car was on the towing truck, Mr Jack Adams of Pine Belt informed me that because the car was not being repaired by them they couldn't release the car until a storage bill of $2196.48 was paid. I wasn't aware that they were going to charge any type of storage fee, ESPECIALLY since I purchased the car from them 4 months previous. I had no choice but to pay it. 5) I feel that that Pine Belt Subaru treated me unfairly after only 4 months passing since my purchase from them. $2196.48 dollars for having my Forester parked in the corner of their parking lot for 18 days is outrageous. Is this how they treat all their customers? More

My wife and I wanted as many boxes checked as possible before we made a final decision in purchasing a new car. After visiting several dealerships in the area comparing different SUV makes and models, we before we made a final decision in purchasing a new car. After visiting several dealerships in the area comparing different SUV makes and models, we found that Pine Belt Subaru was superior. Mike Tillis was easily the most patient and knowledgeable car salesman we had ever dealt with. He gave us multiple choices explaining all the different features of each vehicle in depth. Having a mechanic as our product specialist (salesman) was a bonus and Mike's mechanical and technical expertise certainly exceeded our expectations! The entire Pine Belt team we later met with were courteous and professional as well as the follow up given after our purchase. We highly recommend Pine Belt Subaru. More

Michael Yurcho was a pleasure to work with. Very Professional. Friendly and Knowledgeable. When we viewed the vehicle it was very dirty from sitting on the lot. After we signed the papers and the car was brought to us washed. My wife and I noticed 3 paint blemishes on the hood. Being a Retired Fire Fighter/Medic and part time detailer, I asked that the dealership attempt to repair the blemishes. I was asked to bring it in for window vents, mud flap install and paint repair. All but the paint repair was completed. On 11/25/2024 I received a call from our Salesman Michael Yurcho. He explained to me that our vehicle was not taken in to the detail shop to make the repair on the 3 paint blemishes during the recent visit to install the window vents and mud flaps. In fact, Michael stated that they still planned to fixing the 3 blemishes. Michael asked me to send him a few pics tonight when my wife gets home from work with the vehicle. He will then schedule a day for the vehicle to be returned to the detail shop to fix the 3 blemishes. With this new information. I updated the review. I will post the final outcome upon completion.
