Piazza Volkswagen of Ardmore responded

On 05/01/12 this vehicle was in for service and also a complaint of a coolant leak from the radiator. While diagnosing the coolant leak from the radiator we also found that the radiator support was broken due to impact. At that time the customer did not want to replace the radiator support due to the cost. The vehicle returned on 06/12/12 and the customer complained that the air conditioner was not cold. The vehicle was diagnosed to have a leaking a/c condenser and cooling fan failure. The customer was informed about the findings and reminded that both the coolant loss and the a/c concern were most likely due to the original impact. On the first visit the customer also complained about the shifting of the vehicle. Stating that there was a warranty extension for the valve body inside the transmission. Under VW warranty policy and procedures, proper documentation must support the replacement of the valve body for it to be considered under the extension. After driving the vehicle for 40 miles we were unable to duplicate the customer’s complaint. The vehicle performed as designed at that time. The customer contacted VW Customer Care looking for assistance. Our contact, Michele Pabst at Customer Care explained that there could not be any warranty consideration without the duplication of the concern and that the Dealer was following proper procedures as set up in the Policy and procedure guidelines. I (Neil) tried to explain to the customer what we had seen and invited her to stop in with her vehicle so I (Neil) could show here what we were trying to explain to her by phone. She refused and simply continued to bash Vince, Myself, Piazza and VW. I (Neil) contacted Michele Pabst at Customer Care and she stated that she had already had a conversation with the customer with similar results.
