I recently purchased a new Hybrid Camry from Linh Lam at Penske Toyota of Downey. This is my 4th purchase from Linh and this dealership. I will never purchase a car from another Toyota Dealership. Linh has always exceeded my expectations in terms of the honesty, easiness, service and pricing he has provided me with each of my purchases. I live in within 10 minutes of two other Toyota Dealerships, but I will drive 30-45 minutes to buy a car from Linh. Lastly, no one likes spending a lot of time at a car dealership. I can honestly say, I have never spent more than an hour with each purchase from Linh, and usually closer to 45 minutes. In each case, I knew what type of car I wanted and by the time I got to the dealership, all of the paperwork is usually all ready to sign and ready to go by the time I get there. I have referred two of my grown children as well as my neighbor to Linh at Penske Toyota of Downey, and will continue to do so. More

I knew it was time for me to buy a new car. It had been over a decade since I had purchased my last car. Needless to say, I was much younger and it was my first car. Knowing that I wanted a Camry Hybrid, a friend referred me to go see Linh Lam. And what the other reviews says, is true. Linh, along with his team members Dan and Israel made my experience of purchasing my “big girl” car easier than I could have imagined. They were very friendly, easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable enough to ask any type of question. No negotiations needed. Everything I could have wanted in a car was right there in that Camry Hybrid for a great price! Time? Not an issue. I was out of there in no time. The paper work was already laid out and ready to go. I was so excited to drive away in my beautiful new hybrid! But all of that excited was taken away in a matter of two hours of purchasing the car. I was driving home on the freeway when an object came flying at my beautiful, new car out of nowhere! When I check to see if any damage was done, I found part of the grill had been broken. I was devastated, frustrated, and wanted to cry. I immediately contacted Linh and explained what had happened. He was my saving grace when he told me that everything was going to be alright and that the grill would be replaced at no cost. Talk about bad luck, but having good people to help you out. My overall experience of purchasing a new car was a pleasant experience and I am so grateful to have worked with Linh. I highly recommend if you are looking to buy a Toyota, to go see Linh and his team at Penske Toyota Scion of Downey! You’ll be glad you did! More

My experience at buying a Camry from Penske Toyota was nothing short of excellent. I was referred to Linh Lam by my uncle, and it was the best experience as compared to other dealers. With other dealers, they wouldn't give us the exact price up to the point of sale so we wasted time waiting and waiting only to find out we didn't agree. It was very different with Linh Lam. He was honest and to the point--the prices he gave on the phone were the actual prices so it saved us a lot of time going back and forth. We saved time, effort, gas and when we went there for our appointment, the car was already parked outside ready to be tested. Very, very helpful. Linh Lam provided us a truly exceptional service. We just exchanged a few emails through a friend who knew the Fleet Director, Linh Lam, who promptly answered our questions and quoted us very reasonable prices, including the extended warranty price. When we decided on all the options and color, Linh was able to find us the exact car within 2 days. While we were there, we witnessed how efficient he was, handling 3 sales at the same time, and finding time to talk to each customer, and making them feel that they’ve been well taken care of. Straightforward, no haggling, friendly – so different from our previous car shopping experience! We will definitely refer friends and family to Linh in the future. Thank you Linh! More

I went to Toyota anticipating to buy a used car. After much consideration, Cesar, my salesman, put me in a brand new Prius. He did not force me to do so or haggle me to try it out. He was very knowledgable and answered all my questions about the Prius. He could see that I wasn't too sure if I really wanted to buy a brand new car so he had me talk to Finance. After talking with Jason, he informed me that there was 0% APR for qualified buyers of the Prius. After I found that out, I took a few days to consider my options. A week later, I went back to Penske Toyota Scion and Cesar put me back in the 2013 Prius to see if I wanted to go ahead with purchasing the vehicle. I fell in love with the car and I enjoyed the respectfulness of Cesar. No one there was forcing me or trying to convince me to do something I didn't want to, to benefit them and I truly appreciated that. Luckily, after meeting with Jason again, I was a qualified buyer and I was able to get 0% APR on my brand new Prius. They worked with me on the price so I could leave there comfortably, knowing I didn't just spend every last penny I had to my name. Shah helped me fill out the rest of the paperwork and answered all of my questions regarding the terms & conditions. He didn't rush me while I was reading and was extremely patient with me. After spending a couple hours at the dealership, I left with my brand new White Prius and I couldn't be happier! (PS, you can't beat the gas mileage!) More
