Hi hope your doing better than I am at this point today. My wife and I purchased a used 2018 Chevy Malibu from Penske Honda Ontario, California in March 2022. We were told that the Century Service Plus vehi My wife and I purchased a used 2018 Chevy Malibu from Penske Honda Ontario, California in March 2022. We were told that the Century Service Plus vehicle agreement was for 60,000 miles. We recently took the car to a dealership and were told that the contract is no longer valid. Why? We currently have 69,000 miles on the car. We bought the car with 43,100 miles. The contract reads under new car guidelines that once 60,000 miles is read on the odometer the contract is no longer valid. We did not purchase a new car. So why sell us a new car policy? What were the intentions on selling a $2500 policy that was only good for less than 17,000 miles( the difference of 43,000 & 60,000 miles). Our car was USED and we should have been sold a used car service contract that provides service for 60,000 miles from the day we bought it, like we were told when buying this service contract. I believe it was filled out wrong by Honda sales team or it's just a way to make a quick dollar and NOT inform us that it's only for 17,000 miles. I put 17,000 in less than a year on my car. Not even remotely close to 48 months or 60,000 miles. After speaking with finance manager, sales manager and Bryant Lee I was provided with NO help. This is wrong. I was told by Mr Lee that he tried to help me. All he did was confirm that Century Plus would not cover cost. I did that on my own. Everyone i spoke with already knows this. How about trying to have honda repair my vehicle or RETURNING the $2500 that I paid for this scam policy? Honda should be responsible for the this misleading sales tactic. I hope someone sees that the tactic of using "misleading information" about my Century policy was used to sell it to us. Shame on Honda for allowing this practice of selling extra warranty policies. After this email my next option is to seek legal help with the "New Car" policy I was sold. More
