Everything about our experience with Penske Honda was above average, however, I would have appreciated a heads up that the car my wife picked out had none of the bells and whistles the car we traded in w above average, however, I would have appreciated a heads up that the car my wife picked out had none of the bells and whistles the car we traded in was equiped with. We traded in a Pontiac Bonneville with most every bell or whistle you might want, need, or just plain enjoy and our new Honda Accord is on the low side of vanilla. It doesn't even have an inside or outside temp read out. It doesn't have auto-an/off head lights. It doesn't have rpm volume level mgmt on the stereo. It doesn't have cabin temp control for either driver or passenger. It doesn't have blue-tooth phone option(s). It has no engine warning system. When my wife test drove the car, I sat in the back seat so the sales rep could sit up front and answer her questions. It just never dawned on me that I should be concerned about the width of the front bucket seats. The front seats seem to have been designed for a smaller people than the average American. Don't get me wrong here. . . My wife loves the car. She is strictly an On/Off/Volume-Control kind of person and the car is a Honda and its a great body design - but Wow, the downgrade we just moved into. I would have forced the deal in another direction had I known just how much we were giving up. Other than this, the entire staff at Penske was extremely good to us and eager to make the sale. PS - I started reading your "Terms of Use" - Ridiculous !!! I've done what is required to get this rating to you but have not read your Terms-of-Use. oh yes - there was no names list provided to select from. More
Explained our situation, that we had a 10 year old Saturn that was just about scrap, and we were looking for a replacement and that they were one of several dealerships we wanted to look at that day. Sales associates literally walked away from us, absolutely no interest, simply did not care, and this was as we were looking at a Civic in front of the building and asking questions. Walked back to our car, no response, got in and drove away, no response, dealer flat out did not care. More
Sales rep Alex Escalante knows his car and presented it convencinely to my wife. He is courteous, friendly and easy going. Above all, he applied NO PRESSURE whatsoever to his potential client. Also, the financial guru named Jose was witty and fun-loving while taking my wife's money using his tons of paper work (licenses, agreements, sales contracts, releases, acknowledgements etc.) Here is my message to the Penske dealer: Use electronic document and images instead of using ancient paper. This will save trees and make this world greener. In addition, all these annoying dot-matrix printer noises will disappear and make business transaction more pleasant. Penske Honda is the best place to buy a new Honda from. I know. I just bought one this afternoon and I will recommend it to all my friends and relatives. More

Meaning, in my case, I look young, quiet, and am a female. I own a Honda Civic and am in the market for a new car. Did my research and wasn't liking any other models out there other than Honda. But this dealership really changed my mind. So not only is he putting a bad name on Penske Honda but he is also creating loss profit for HONDA was a whole. I was really considering buying an accord coupe. I walked into this dealership thinking if all goes well I'm going to walk out with a new car. But after the abysmal treatment I'm going to another dealership that didn't treat me like a little kid. They also know what CUSTOMER SERVICE is. There is a reason why this dealerships ratings is lower then the rest -- its not a bunch of made up stories. I asked for a test drive and the older gentlemen wouldn't even let me go over 40mph. I stepped on the gas pedal and he told me to go slow...I didn't ask for a test drive to take a stroll in the park. And on top of that I barely drove out of the parking lot before he asked me to drive back, it was basically a really slow U-turn on Hudson Ave. Maybe Penske Honda makes enough revenue to refuse new customers. Either way they missed an opportunity and gained some bad reviews . FYI reviews is pluralized not on accident. More
Before Penske, I had already visited Metro, and Spreen. Spreen was always low balling me, and the very end, the relationship ended in a sour note. Then i tried Penske. I know it's her job, but Nancy is the FRIENDLIEST person. And even though its impossible for her to put no pressure on her customers, she puts little pressure. She doesn't make one feel uncomfortable. Isela speaks VERY WELL spanish. She can translate on a dime. Also very amiable. Would DEFINITELY recommend Penske to anyone shopping for a new car. More

In particular, Fleet Sales Rep Nancy Bermejo is some kind of miracle. She is an outstanding Sales Getter. She's a fast and right-on "Reader" of (at least) this Buyer, and she quickly discerns what the Cust of miracle. She is an outstanding Sales Getter. I will say that my experience with this Transaction at Penske Honda was my best Car buying experience ever,and Nancy was the biggest part of that satisfaction. I expected a lot because of the Penske name, and I was not disappointed. I also appreciated that she would take her time to personally deliver my new Honda to my Home. Isela Hernandez was also pleasant, helpful, and highly efficient. She helped to ease the time spent signing my name 4,000 times with humor and grace. She did not push when it was not right to push, and she kept things moving right along an friendly. More
We went to Metro Honda of Ontario hoping to purchase a new 2011 Red CRZ Hybrid on a sunday afternoon. As we pulled up to the dealership, Tom Munoz greeted us. He was very cordial as I gave him an exact br new 2011 Red CRZ Hybrid on a sunday afternoon. As we pulled up to the dealership, Tom Munoz greeted us. He was very cordial as I gave him an exact breakdown of what we needed. Tom was very receptive to our needs and did not pressure us at all. We came to find out that the vehicle we requested would have to come by dealer trade, if we continued to do business with Metro Honda of Ontario. After deciding to obtain qualification during the visit, we sat down with Tom and he got things rolling. After exhausting all of our options for a first time buyer financing program, this actually taking 2 days, in which also Tom was NOT SCHEDULED to work for 1 of these days, he was in constant contact with us and his sales manager Jose as we attempted to move forward. During this time, I was able to stop by 2 other Honda dealerships in the general vicinity to see if the vehicle was available on either lot: Rock Honda and Honda of Montclair. Honda of Montclair had a the vehicle we were looking for yet we were unable to come to an agreement. Wednesday approached. Tom was now on his 2nd day off and still working as hard as ever for us. We reached an agreement wedensday afternoon and started making moves to acquire the vehicle. The team from Honda that we dealt with; Tom, Jose, and Nauvid worked at an amazing speed to acquire the vehicle that same day. They were able to work with us on most pricing and they did exactly that. For something that seemingly was an impossible time frame, these guys got the job done! This was not my first, second, nor third experience buying a vehicle, but it was definitely the best one by far. More
