On the lot we were approached by an extremely friendly, personable and humorous sales person named Tola. By the way my wife hates to buy cars but Tola did not pressure her and really listened to what she wanted. Happily we purchased a 2007 XC 90. This is the second car we purchased from Patrick and we did look at other dealers but the huge selection and working with Tola influenced us to stay and buy our Volvo XC 90. It is a beautiful car and we are very happy with it. I travel two months every year to Spain and have rented many different European cars and Volvo is always impressive on the sharp up and down turns in heavy traffic. When you have to show who is boss the Volvo has superb handling and quick speed. When we drove in the Pyrenees Mountains on remote forest roads the All Wheel Drive and high clearance of the underbody is awesome. We purchased a 2001 XC 70 years before and always brought this car to be serviced at Patrick Volvo and never had a problem because their service is exceptional. We traded it in and got good trade in value for this car. Because our kids have grown and having two dogs we found we needed a 7 passenger car like the XC 90. I still miss the XC 70 and it would have lasted another 10 years easily. As with all of their used cars they only stock those that are like new. I have had a really hard time to find any damage to the used car because it really is like new. We were able to get the car with a certified warranty until 2013 that could be renewed for another 2 years which is important to us. The dealer provided a discount with the warranty and the car that really sold it. So the price was very competitive. Overall our experience was very pleasant and I would really hope that Tola will there to sell us another car because he is fantastic. Patrick Volvo has never let us down both in service and sales. I knew that I wanted to seriously consider buying a Volvo XC90...switching from my MDX. I had done my research and (honestly) was mentally preparing to 1) like the vehicle; and 2) go through "games salepeop XC90...switching from my MDX. I had done my research and (honestly) was mentally preparing to 1) like the vehicle; and 2) go through "games salepeople play" to negotiate my terms. I did fall in love with the XC90. And I was blown away from the first time I met Tola. In my challenging business, I am regularly faced with pressure sales and lots of games. I, personally, don't play that game. I build client loyalty by being straightforward, honest and genuine. I figure that if that is how I want to be treated, my clients will respond. Well, that is precisely the way I was treated...Tola even treated me with greater care than I do of my clients. He was incredibly responsive, informative and went out of his way to facilitate this process. When I brought my family with me...it told me even more about Tola's character. With his help, we found the car we wanted...at the price I wanted...with no games. I can't say enough how much I value that!!! Great experience purchasing our XC 90. Tola was very experienced and knowledgable about the product. The only dissatisfaction we had was with the warranty on the car. We were told by sales there was a 1 experienced and knowledgable about the product. The only dissatisfaction we had was with the warranty on the car. We were told by sales there was a 100,000 mlw warranty, only to find out during financing there was no warranty. Also, the interest rate was not discussed with us during financing prior to signing. We will now need to refinance in the near future. More

We were greated by Michael Zyrkowski, who made us feel comfortable instantly (unless our experience with the other sales people at the Chicago-based dealership). Michael created a friendly, hastle-free environment; inquire about what we were looking for; identified exactly the car we wanted; and gave us a competitive price. Michael is the most knowledgible and no-games car salesperson I have ever dealt with and should be recognized by his employer as a model employee. More
We were shopping for a 2010 Volvo V70. The dealership had the only demo in the Chicago area, and I negotiated via email. We reached an agreement. When my wife and I came in later that day to complete the purchase, the dealership did not honor an email quote given to us 2 hours earlier, citing some lame excuse. They tried to overcharge us by almost $300. We got up and left, very upset. We received a call the next day that they were now ready to honor the quote. We came in and had a very stressful buying experience. They did not even fill a full tank of gas. We had to haggle with them over that, and finally they gave us $30 cash as compensation. If it were not for the fact that this dealer had had the only demo of V70 in the Chicago area, we would never have done business with them. I was aware of their poor reputation from other reviews, but we had no choice, as we could not afford a brand new V70 (the demo came with a significant discount). Very poor customer service, lack of integrity, so stay away from this dealer if you can help it. More
