That never happens! They put me in touch with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg. When I walked in I was greeted be Mike Zyrkowski and after a few minutes into our conversation I mentioned my sister had bought a vehicle from here a while back (7years to be exact). He asked her name, and before I could spit out her last name he finished it for me. I couldn't believe it. I knew right then I could rely on their customer service...and I was right. He guided me every step of the way making sure i got exactly what I wanted and that I got the best deal and all the rebates and credits possible through the CostCo plan. I've bought vehicles from plenty of dealerships (Toyota, SAAB, Lexus, Audi, BMW) and have never had a more pleasant experience and walked away with more confidence than I have after dealing with Mike Mike Zyrkowski at Patrick Volvo. The reality of dealing with any car dealership is that I'm thinking I can get the service for less ... and the dealership is thinking they should charge more....thats business! I just had my volvo servi I'm thinking I can get the service for less ... and the dealership is thinking they should charge more....thats business! I just had my volvo serviced and I'm happy to say that the charge was zero. Yes, there were some recall items involved....but they also replaced the battery. What I did purchase was an entended warrantee, and I must say that this has paid for itself over and over again. Chicago winters are a challange and the roads are worse. I have had no less that three replacemenrt tires and rims because of potholes. I have had the good fortune of dealing with Patrick Volvo for about twenty years. I am always treated with kindness and prompt service. The price is what I pay.. value is what I get. More

Diane was great to work with. She made our unexpected shopping for a new car an easy process. She took the time to listen to our needs therefore it was easy to choose our new car. We felt violated & ripped off. We were sold a broken car at a premium price. And, we were given a bunch of xxxxxxxx as to what was wrong with it. It started with a broken sun roof. Of course, the pap at a premium price. And, we were given a bunch of xxxxxxxx as to what was wrong with it. It started with a broken sun roof. Of course, the papers were signed "while they were fixing the problem." (Bad move on our part) We were told we would have to bring the car back in 2 days. The mechanic who knows how to read and reset the computer codes to make the sun roof work(?) was not there - at 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. They would not keep the car, nor could they offer a loaner that late in the day. I was never given any alternative options or recourse. We drove the car off the lot and noticed that it was almost OUT OF GAS! I just wrote a $42,000 check and you can't even fill the tank? What jerks! When we returned on Thursday morning, we learned that they already knew a replacement motor had to be ordered for the sunroof (Hmmm, they knew that on Tuesday, but they weren't going to tell us. Maybe that's why we HAD to take the car?) But, the part wasn't ordered, yet. The mechanic who approves ordering motors for sunroofs was busy and would not be able to look at the car until late in the afternoon. (Really?) After raising a bit of a stink, we were asked to wait for 15 minutes and they would get it looked at. Forty-five minutes later, when no one had come to get us, we tracked down our service advisor. He asked us, outright, "you mean Diane (our sales person) didn't come over to talk to you yet?" Well, it turns out she was busy trying to sell another car. That went over well with us. Still nothing changed. Diane tried to pass blame of the problems onto another dealership (really? - some other dealer sabotaged my car to make Patrick look bad? I don't think so.) And then she tells us that since none of this is hers or Patricks fault must give her all high marks on her survey. ROTFLMAO!!! Meanwhile, there were a couple of other things we brought to their attention to fix. There was sticky stuff on the doors, and the cowling over the steering column was broken. Well, it took them from Thursday morning until Tuesday afternoon to fix our BRAND NEW car. And they found more wrong with it each time they looked at it! They replaced an oil pump (that's serious) and a handful of other things. I had to call the service department every day to see if it was fixed yet, as they never called me when they said they would. It was to be ready "tomorrow" 3 days in a row. They had to keep ordering parts! On Monday, they decided to order the replacement cowling for the steering wheel that they knew about on Thursday morning. Additionally, I had to take the car to my mechanic to locate where a screw belonged that they left in the cup holder! Really?! And I had to rub off the sticky stuff from the doors when I got the car home. Further, we NEVER received a follow-up call from the sales person, the sales manager, nor the service department. After several tries, I finally reached the GM to express my displeasure. He said he would look into the matter and call me back. He never did. You'd think that if you bought a car today, the dealer would bend over backwards to make it right. I feel that they got our money and are done with us. We supposedly get 5 years of free maintenance from VOLVO, so the dealer has no incentive to keep us happy. That is really obvious to us. There were 2 possible endings to this story. Patrick got to pick how it would end. They could have treated us well, been respectful, attentive, and really tried to make things right. I would have recognized that and commended them for their efforts. However, they chose to treat us like crap. I felt Patrick did the absolute minimum they had to do; not to make a customer happy, but because VOLVO required them to do it. Because of this experience, I cannot and WILL NOT recommend them, EVER. And I will continue to tell my story to whomever will listen to it, every chance I get. More

Had a great experience with Tola. Took time to show us cars, was open and honest about prices; I had researched on Edmunds.com etc. and knew what to expect. He gave me a reasonable trade-in price. I proba cars, was open and honest about prices; I had researched on Edmunds.com etc. and knew what to expect. He gave me a reasonable trade-in price. I probably could have tried to get more out of him but I don't bargain on TV's, computers, etc. so if I think I am at a fair price, I take it. They will pick up the car for service and give me a loaner. I got much more car for the money than if I had bought BMW or Mercedes. More
