THE BAD...It's been a long time since i purchased a car so I was quite a bit rusty... I didn't spend enough time scrutinizing the used car I wound up purchasing; with morbid obesity comes a not so subtle p so I was quite a bit rusty... I didn't spend enough time scrutinizing the used car I wound up purchasing; with morbid obesity comes a not so subtle pressure for me to rush my inspection especially in the heat of the summer. I found many disappointing flaws as a new owner that I didn't catch on the test ride: numerous cigarette burns, missing floor mats, front fender unhinged/broken sagging, over perfumed smell (masking cigg smell) and a tire that is constantly losing pressure. When I inquired about these things, I was summarily referred to someone else without an apology-- modus operandi: buyer beware! This left a bad taste in my mouth, albeit, it is partly my fault for not catching these things before signing. Upon delivery, the car had an under-inflated tire, and should've had the tires rotated in truth, and added just a splash of gas (it was empty). Dave was friendly enough- pictured with Sly Stallone, but lacking attention to detail: tried to sell me window etching (the car came with it), and didn't know the insurance fax came in hours ago, so i wound up wasting time re-calling and waiting unnecessarily. I also bent-over-backwards to accommodate the sales person to close the sale ASAP, and found the same spirit was not reciprocated at all. The GOOD... They did take my offer w/o sparring, (thanks Bob W.), but I realized i was being too generous with my asking price (my bad, again). NOTE to buyers: end of month= dealer incentives to sell, be stingy on your offers! The nice thing was they gave me a slightly better interest rate than my bank by point-something, and threw in free oil changes for a limited time. We'll see how that all pans out. Upon request, they sent my new plates overnight. Thanks. Overall: a "typical" experience at a car dealer - that is why i recommended Parkway Toyota, no better or worse than the next dealer, ok, perhaps slightly better. The car that i purchased sold itself, it's precisely what i was looking for... so, be at your best game when you buy, and this dealer will comply. peace. More

I am generally weary when purchasing a new car of getting "screwed." Every time I've purchased a car--regardless of manufacturer or how much time I spent doing research--I left feeling as though I got "f-d" "screwed."
