Being a young female, car shopping for a BMW, I was hesitant about the sharks trying to take advantage of my little knowledge of cars. But my experience at Park Ave BMW in Maywood, NJ changed that. I was approached by Alan Himmelfarb and he was very helpful. Not pushy at all, very informative. We talked for a while turns out they didn’t have the exact model I wanted. Alan and I sat down at his computer and he found me the exact car I wanted, the colors of the interior and exterior and the options I wanted in my car. It felt like I built the car to my exact preferences & I only had to wait a week for it to come in! When I came in to pick it up he was just as excited as I was. We sat in the car he explained everything to me. How the car works, the options & functions. I was very satisfied with Alan Himmelfarb. I was also able to contact him numerous times during the week for questions I had for him. He was the best & I will DEFINATLY* be leasing my next BMW from him. Started up my 2010 535xiT with only 2400 miles to discover a Lighting System Error and no turn signals, brake lights or high beams. Drove car to Park Ave (about 5 miles from house) and even without a discover a Lighting System Error and no turn signals, brake lights or high beams. Drove car to Park Ave (about 5 miles from house) and even without appointment Brian took me immediately. After running diagnostics, it was determined that the Lighting Control Module had failed and part needed to be ordered. It was late afternoon when I finally was able to get the car to Park Ave but the part made the day's order and arrived the next AM. Brian stayed in touch throughout all of the process. I also requested update of the hard-drive based nav system to the latest 2010 maps. Brian phoned late evening to apologize that car would not be ready early the next AM as promised since the reprogramming after lighting module did not take. He called mid-day to inform me the car was ready and apologized for the delay. He even offered to have the car delivered to me. No need since I was close. He also included at no extra charge software update to audio system. Car was nicely washed and vacuumed when I picked it up and all systems work fine. Excellent experience! And one more thing-- I did not even purchase the vehicle from Park Ave yet was still treated like a long-standing customer! More
This is the second BMW my family has purchased from Park Ave BMW, and the second by Alan Himmelfarb. I got the car I wanted, with the color and options I wanted at a great deal. We would definitely buy an Ave BMW, and the second by Alan Himmelfarb. I got the car I wanted, with the color and options I wanted at a great deal. I have to say the Dealershp service department is top notch. Dave the service manager helped me out with problem with a warranty item and he went out of his way to help. My BMW 328XI had an oil problem and it was resolved quickly and very satisfactorily. It is very rare that you find a dealer that will go to the lengths Dave did for me. The professionalism and caring that the dealer showed is above and beyond. I would refer the dealer to any friend, client or family member. More

I was a few months out from turning in a Lexus IS 250 lease and interested in the BMW X6. In researching the X6, I wanted to find out what my options were, given that I wasn't exactly ready to purchase. lease and interested in the BMW X6. After soliciting BMW dealerships in the Tri-state area, I was turned off by the dismissive, impatient, and arrogant attitude I got from some sales reps. When I explained that I was not ready to buy just yet, I was made to feel as though I was wasting their time. When I raised questions about pricing and options, I was politely dismissed and told to come back when I was "ready to buy". I even had one sales associate arrogantly tell me that perhaps I "should stick with Lexus." This all changed when Jerry DeLeon responded to my online query. Mr. DeLeon was courteous, attentive and responsive to my situation! Instead of focusing on what I could not do, he focused on what I could. He walked me through the entire process with minimal hassle and had the foresight to factor in vehicle production time-in an effort to get me the X6 35I around the time I turned in the IS 250. It worked out well! I turned in the IS 250 in mid March and picked up the 2010 X6 35i at the end of March. Based on my experience with Mr. DeLeon and Park Avenue BMW, I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family. More

My sales associate Brad Russack, was a total prof years (far too numerous to count!) I truly had the most pleasurable experience at Park Avenue BMW. My sales associate Brad Russack, was a total professional on every level. He took great care to be sure everything went smoothly and even understood my numerous schedule changes for the vehicle pickup. I purchased a 2008 525xi and I was blown away when I took delivery as the car looked as if it were new! Brad’s walk through and explanation of the vehicle’s features was most thorough, and I drove off the lot with total confidence. My 535i had recurring fuel pump problems and i was getting frustrated. Both Larry and David worked together to finally fix the problem permanently. A few days after picking up the car both of them cal getting frustrated. Both Larry and David worked together to finally fix the problem permanently. A few days after picking up the car both of them called me and asked me to stop by. I did and they both said they were bothered i had this problem and although it was now fixed they wanted to do something for me. What Larry and David did was give me a check for one and a half months of payment towards my car. I have had and dealt with high end cars and dealers my whole adult life and NEVER did one of them do something as generous as these gentlemen. Their sales force is great and having Larry and David on your side after deal is done is always a good thing. Because of this dealerships professionalism and generosity I can see that my family and i will be driving BMWs for a long time. They are the BEST. No need to go anywhere else. More
I love this place. As much as it pains me to have to visit the service center, these guys make you feel like #1....true VIP experience. Courteous, prompt, efficient service always. They walk the talk and deliver exactly as expected. After your first visit they treat you like family. I come in, everyone knows me by name...they even know what makes me tick! (getting the bill) Whenever I call, the receptionsist are always friendly, polite and helpful. You are in and out, no long waiting, but you never feel rushed either! They take all your concerns seriously. Their job isn't only to fix your car, their job is to make you HAPPY! The service manager Dave ROCKS! As busy as he is, he is always willing to listen and offer suggestions. The facility is clean and up to date. Everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand. The sales dept is just as great...my sales guy Andre sold me my car and then I brought my mom back for her car. These guys have to be special to deal with me and I'm hard to please. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who not only wants a car, but wants to be treated with respect no matter your budget. Keep up the good work.....you have a customer for life! More
