I was beginning to shop for a new BMW as the end of my lease was approaching. I visited all the local BMW dealers in Northern NJ and was not very happy with how I was treated ( not even by the dealer I w lease was approaching. I was fortunate to have Luis Valencia to work with. By far he was the most professional, helpful and honest of all that I met with, and has the perfect personality for dealing with people. He is a great representation of what those providing customer service and selling should be. He asked the right questions, listened to my answers and responded, he communicated with confidence and respect and most of all he made the entire experience enjoyable. He, too, was quite helpful, and did not pressure us into adding any features onto the car that we did want. He explained each option in detail, and cited the pros of each, but did not "oversell" any of these items. This is our third time we've purchased a vehicle from Park Ave. BMW, and each time has been a pleasant experience. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with my experience. When faced with buying my 2nd BMW, I visited a few dealerships out here in Miami and could not find the car I wanted. I widened my search to include the whole US and found the exact car I was looking for at Park Ave BMW. I had a family member visit the dealership to inspect the car and it was in perfect condition. I then began working with Luis Valencia to see what type of deal we could make happen. He was friendly, courteous, and respectful the entire time. We came to an agreement within a few hours and I purchased the car. Since I was in Miami and the dealership was in NJ the papers were sent to me via FEDEX. Short of utterly dreading the gamut of the buying-a-car-experience, Jerry was a relief from the get-go— never pushy and always understanding. We negotiated a deal on a 135i 6MT Sport, a rare automobile in these parts, picked out the colors and options, and sent the order to the Leipzig plant (Germany). A few anxious weeks later the car arrives at Park Ave BMW. I was never in the dark; Jerry always kept me briefed on the car’s status. He answered my emails swiftly and returned my calls the same day. The Black on Black 135i was prominently displayed for my arrival. Jerry gallantly fended off the would-be test drivers who drooled over my car (Jerry must have wiped it clean), begging him to allow it out for a spin. A big thanks to Jerry, Roger Pic (the finance manager) and the rest of the Park Ave staff. Seriously BMW NA should pay me for plugging... the 135i Sport/M-sport in manual transmission is a true driver’s car that leaves your face sore from constantly grinning. More
