My initial review on February 16th of Park Avenue BMW was on February following a very negative experience involving a repair and service to my M3. I requested that the service advisor check my car for damag on February following a very negative experience involving a repair and service to my M3. I requested that the service advisor check my car for damage not only on the visible upper portion the car, but under the front air dam and running boards as well. I explained that in the past, my car had been damaged only by BMW Dealers, under the running boards and front air dam. Before receiving a loner car, he reported back to me that my car was perfect. He stated to me that he did not see any damage any where. However, when I returned to pick up the following day and checked the car at the point of pick up, I discovered damage to both my left running board and air dam. Following this experience, which was published under negative dealer comments, I returned for a final inspection of a rear seal repair that was covered with oil and could not be determined whether or not the oil present was the product of a continuing problem or a problem with the repair of the rear seal. Since February, 2011, reimbursement for repair of the damage was made by Park Avenue BMW and the inspection of the rear seal on June 28, 2011 indicated no further problem with the rear seal. Park Avenue’s attempts to resolve the problem were positive and my last experience at the dealership on Tuesday, 6/28/11, was very brief but positive. More
