Before you read this... I am not a personal friend or family member of Park Ave BMW. I bought a car there this week and I am very happy with my service. I am in the service industry, myself, and I thin family member of Park Ave BMW. I bought a car there this week and I am very happy with my service. I am in the service industry, myself, and I think good people should be rewarded. Yes, I am spending 20 minutes writing this review, but it is because the staff at Park Ave BMW impressed me. Also, I like to write... Sat, August 20th, 9:25PM... Just got home to my home in Manhattan after driving all day in my newly purchased X5. I'll admit, I'm a bit sad, as I had to trade my coupe for the SUV, but all-in-all, I'm very happy. Reason I'm happy is because I purchased my car at Park Ave BMW. This is my third BMW and the first two I bought at BMW Manhattan, just because it was closer to where I live. BMW of MANHATTAN's line is "we are a factory owned dealership so we have the best service, we have the best sales professionals, we have the best inventory, we can provide you with the best pricing, and we are right down the street." All baloney, except for the last line. I was very unhappy with my cars I purchased there, but this is not about how bad BMW of Manhattan is, it's about HOW HAPPY I WAS AT Park Ave BMW... I had done some research and Thursday morning I called Park Ave to set up an appointment. Randomly, I was assigned to Kathleen and she patiently answered every possible question I had about the vehicle in question. Was literally on the phone for about 45 minutes with her and she was impressive - I could tell that she was an expert in her product and I really felt like I could trust her. Three hours later, I was in my car on the way to Park Ave BMW. I think i must have arrived at the dealership at 5pm, continued to harangue her with what I was looking for, what options, etc. Then we went on three test drives (first the x5 5.0, then the x5 3.5, then the GT) and she was patient, considerate, and committed - all without pressuring me. Even surprising for me, I came to a very quick decision and knew I wanted to transact right there, right then. I had done my research on line (don't sound too interested, low ball, get ready to play games, prepare to walk out, etc.). However, the process was extremely professional and painless, especially since I had two vehicles to negotiate - the X5 I was buying and the convertible I was selling.... This was when John Cavanaugh got involved. He is one of the senior managers at the dealership and was the one who assessed the value of my car and joined the price discussion on the new car. Very professional, very polite, we obviously traded views of what the cars were worth and had a pleasant negotiation. His explanation of why Park Ave was willing to go to x price, but not y price made a lot of sense and I felt like it was a good deal. What was also refreshing was there was no wait tactics with Kathleen going into another room to "try and convince the manager" type stuff. John, actually sat in the middle of the showroom, two seats from Kathleen, so it all happened in front of me. At long last, we agreed on two prices and it was 8:45PM (dealership closes at 8PM on Thursday, so they kept the place open for me ). John offered to have my car ready the following morning, detailed, washed, etc... but I opted for Saturday (today). Went in this morning, promptly signed all the documents, John and I walked over to the car and discussed the job, someone on the staff gave my baby son a balloon off of one of the cars in the showroom, Kathleen ran out to my car with some windex to clean a window streak that bothered her, took my picture with my wife and the new and old cars, and the rest is history. In conclusion, Im very happy. If you ask me honestly, would I have been happier if I paid $2,000 less for my car? ABSOLUTELY!!! However, I do think that the price I got for both transactions was very fair and likely the best I could get in the tri-state area. Why do I think this? Because I was talking with BMW of Manhattan, as well, and the prices they offered were WAY off... The Park Ave team is professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. If you live in NJ, it's a no brainer.. However, even if you live in NYC, I think it's worth it to yourself to at least check this place out. I will not buy another BMW from anywhere else. More
I found Park Ave BMW through the internet sales feature of used cars. Brad was very responsive immediately and took the time to understand not only the kind of car that I wanted but also my financial situ of used cars. When the first option didn't work out, Brad searched for a car that would fit both my finances and the features I was looking for without hesitation. I first visited Park Ave to look at a CPO 335i X-Drive that they had on sale. I met Rich and he gave me a great offer on my trade in and on the 335. I said I would think about and after two days called ba that they had on sale. I met Rich and he gave me a great offer on my trade in and on the 335. Because I hadn't placed any kind of deposit on the car there really was nothing I could say about the situation. I was searching around for other possible options when about 5 minutes I get a call from Richard telling me there's a new car that might possibly be a good option. I went back to the dealership and took a look at the car, found it to be just the right car I needed and at a price that could be work for me. Rich then gave me a deal with numbers he had done before I arrived so I didn't have to go through the hassle of having to haggle for an appropriate price. We shook hands there on the spot and I came back the next day to pick up the car. I've had it for just a few days now and I still believe that this deal was the most convenient and satisfying deal I've had buying a car. Thanks Rich and the team at Park Ave BMW. More
Great experience shopped around quite a bit. I had to trade in a Range Rover and everyone low balled me. Called Park ave Bmw spoke to Kathleen scheduled a appointment. I dealt with Brad Russak at Park Ave BMW and the transaction from start to finish was seamless and too easy! My experience with car shopping has always been lackluster at best. I met up with Brad on my request from the recommendations I read on this site. Very personable guy that answered all my questions and concerns without hesitation. We test drove the BMW X5 that I saw on their website. Brad gave me open options on the test drive and made suggestions on where to go for the different types of roads that would showcase the handling abilities of this SUV. Alot of other places I have been to only give you a limited test drive and they tell you where to go; I always feel that I am "on the clock". With Park Ave, I felt non-rushed and not hurried in the least bit. I loved the X5! Brought my 2007 BMW M5 there for a trade in appraisal and the number they gave me was $1500 better then the other BMW dealers. We agreed on a selling price on the X5 then signed a couple papers and that was it. No stalemate negotiations with this car buying transaction. The X5 was ready from the detail shop 3 days later. After I left Park Ave, I had a few questions and concerns for Brad that he fielded though email. He answered me within a couple hours and even helped out with transferring the insurance. Upon delivery he programmed my blackberry for bluetooth and handed me a couple free t shirts. I left that dealership with a big smile on my face! Let me note also that Roger Pic, the finance officer, was extremely easy to work with as well. He took care of the loose ends for me without even asking. Explained everything in detail about BMW financing so I fully understood what I was getting involved with. Could not be more satisfied with this transaction. More

My experience in general and the reason that I ended up buying from Park Avenue and not another local BMW Dealer, was my Salesman Jeff DeBiase. Very honest, straightforward, likeable, respectful individual. When you earn my respect, you earn my trust and loyalty. I told Jeff I was shopping different cars, and even different inventories of BMW, but that I wanted to buy from him. We made that happen. The financial end of it went very smooth as well, as Roger Pic really worked different financing options through many banks and programs to find the right fit for me. Recently I entered into the car market to purchase a car for my new daily commute. I decided to do my homework on cars and dealerships so that I could be confident that I was in the right car and dealing wi for my new daily commute. I called Park Ave BMW one morning after driving through their lot the previous night after work. The salesmen who took my call, Jeremy Beher, was very friendly and invited me in to test drive cars and answer any questions that I might have. When I walked into the showroom everyone was very welcoming, not fake, but genuinely relaxed and happy to assist me if needed, or even give the space to walk around on my own if that is what I wanted. Jeremy was finishing up with another client so his associate, who loves to go on test drives, offered to take me out. When we returned to the dealership I was given customized pricing packages to take with me, compare, and shop around. In fact, they encouraged me to go and see what other dealerships had to offer! After going to more than seven other dealerships in the surrounding areas I knew my home was going to be at Park Ave BMW with Jeremy. When I decided on a car he made putting the deal together painless. We did most of the official business through e-mail and fax, and when he called to set up a time to deliver me the car it was as if someone in my family was on the other end of the phone. With my busy schedule Jeremy offered to come in on his day off to make sure that everything was perfect, and it was. The car was waiting and ready, full tank of gas and spotless! Yes, you would expect this, but not all dealerships put value on every little detail like they did. They went over every number and document thoroughly, making sure that I understood everything that I was signing. When I finally sat in my new car and was ready to drive off the lot Jeremy spent over an hour with me going though all the settings and functions in and outside of the vehicle. He loaded my phone book into the cars memory, my home address into the cars navigation, set up my satellite radio and even customized the pre set memory buttons in the car to make things beyond effortless. If that wasn’t enough he took me out to show me how to use the cars amazing traction control, should I ever be on a snowy icy road and not know what to do. Impressive to say the very least. When we were through I was actually a little sad to say goodbye. He sent me off and I felt a little like kid going off to summer camp. I knew I was going to have fun in my new car, but I was going to miss the laughs and genuine overall feeling I had dealing with such a professional group of people. I am not kidding when I say I am not sure if I am more in love with my new car or with my Park Ave BMW salesman. I don’t think that many new car owners can say that. I will rave about this experience for years and send everyone one I know there! More

I have to say Jeff truly made this a pleasant experience. Jeff was able to work out a great, and more importantly, no-hassle deal. There was never any pressure to make the deal. Jeff had my interest and concerns in mind throughout the whole process. I also would like to thank Roger Pic. His expertise in vehicle financing assisted me in getting a better deal than I had anticipated. After the sale was complete, Jeff took the time to sit with me and go over many of the features of the vehicle. He would have sat with me for 5 hours if I wanted him to do so. Jeff also proved that he is a great salesman dedicated to his customers when he provided me with his cell phone number and told me to call him virtually any time if I had a problem or concern. Who does that today? This is the kind of service one would presume no longer exits. If you don't believe me, go down to Park Ave BMW and see Jeff DeBiase.
