Replaced Defective GTI factory wheels and Recall Brought my new 2015 GTI in to have defective unfinished factory wheels replaced. New wheels came in now fully painted. They did a great job mounting and balancing the tires on the new rims, better than the factory. The car feels so much smoother now. Also took care of a software recal and all was done within a couple of hours. More

Stay away I made an appointment using their web-based appt. tool, since that's what it's for. I wrote a lengthy description of all my Sportwagen's problems, inc I made an appointment using their web-based appt. tool, since that's what it's for. I wrote a lengthy description of all my Sportwagen's problems, included pretty specific details about what trouble-shooting I had already done, including a lot of time online researching the weird gas-tank door lock/passenger door lock/turning signal electronic issues. So I take the day off, get to the dealer and they have no record of my appt. I showed Peter on my phone the conformation e-mail I'd received, and he still had no idea why I had no appointment. He took my car in anyway, jotted down the stuff I summarized was wrong with it -- headlight out, new shocks, doors not unlocking, signals not canceling, doors not greased, etc., and gave me a shuttle ride home. Of course they don't have the parts in stock, so I'll have to take another morning off when they have a loaner available, and then they tell me I have a headlight out. Yeah, I asked you already twice, once in writing and once in person, to give me a new headlight. The attitude that "oh we found something" when actually you overlooked everything did not sit well with me. So they tell me to come get it, and I pay $400 and all they've done is replace the headlight. Yeah, they charged me for the shocks they didn't have in stock, but they did not grease the doors, diagnose the electrical issue, wash the car like they said. (And I don't care about the wash the car thing, but when you say you're going to, and then you don't, it just seems like no one really knows what's going on.) And, and also? Sanding a little plastic off the gas door will not make the locking cam unlock. And charging me $30 in labor to rub sandpaper is really the final reason I will never ever set foot in Palisades VW again. You don't listen to your customers -- people who in good faith go out of their way to make it easy for you to fix their cars. I spent a ton of money and lost a day-and-a-half salary, and I still have a gas door I have to pry open with an ice scraper and an intermittent turn signal and rear door lock. Ugh. I've written good reviews of this place before, but things have changed in the last year. I will never go back. More

Over the past six years that I have leased, I have been so impressed with not only the customer service I have received but also the excellent car maintenance program that has been afforded to me. When my car needs service, the maintenance team responds in a friendly, explanatory, and professional way. As my lease expires, I especially appreciate Jack O'Keefe's help. He is always friendly and accommodating as I select my new vehicle. He recently helped me to make a great decision regarding my new lease, and I couldn't be happier as I enter my seventh year with a VW vehicle. I really enjoy the VW experience! Six years ago, I was told that no car could deliver the heart or soul of a VW, and I'm glad I listened. I've enjoyed a safe, stylish, and fun car to drive while dealing with great, professional people. I'm sure I will do it all again when this lease is up. More

My car was covered with debris. The manager, John Goldie, showed no regard for my car and tried to blame the construction workers for the incident instead of taking responsibility for it. When I told him he was the manager and therefore responsible for my taking care of my car while at the dealership he then offered for me to bring it back later in the week for a wash. When I paid, the cashier seemed uninterested and angry to take my $1000+. More

Palisades VW rate #1 I stopped by unannounced interested in a 2015 GTI after looking at a Mazda 3, Ford Focus ST and a Subaru WRX and was assigned Jack O'Keefe as my rep. I stopped by unannounced interested in a 2015 GTI after looking at a Mazda 3, Ford Focus ST and a Subaru WRX and was assigned Jack O'Keefe as my rep. He was very friendly, forthright, knowledgeable and helpful. We agreed on a price as well as my trade-in immediately and the car was purchased within 30 minutes of arriving there. Although they did not have the color/accessories combination I wanted in-stock, he located one within a day and a few days later I drove out with my new 2015 GTI. Having purchased over 25 vehicles throughout the years, this experience was by far the easiest and most rewarding. I highly recommend Palisades VW! More
