The Way a Car Buying Experience Should Be As I got out of my car I was greeted by Jarred Wilson with a smile and a firm handshake and an offer to help if I needed any. I let Jarred know that I had a couple styles in mind and he professionally helped me make a decision on which one was best for me and my family.... he knows his stuff and would highly recommend him to anyone! Once we decided on the vehicle I wanted he turned me over to Tyler Bratcher to finish the deal, to do the paper work..... never ever went through an easier process and Tyler actually made the process a pleasant one. He explained everything as we went along and adeptly helped me make the right decisions on exactly what I needed. Once the paper work was done, Jarred and Leslie helped me get everything ready to head off in to the sunset with my beautiful new Kia Sedona. I am a Ourisman Chantilly Kia customer for LIFE! More
"Customer" Price Gouging I asked for the Ourisman price for a $45,000 MSRP Telluride and was told it was $54,000. Near 10K above MSRP. Dealerships in Manassas and Fairfax an I asked for the Ourisman price for a $45,000 MSRP Telluride and was told it was $54,000. Near 10K above MSRP. Dealerships in Manassas and Fairfax and Arlington offer Tellurides for no more than MSRP. We all know MSRP is a more than fair and also a profitable price set by the manufacturer. Typically no one would pay MSRP let alone 10 thousand above... Ourisman is knowingly gouging customers while competitors are being honest and fair. Ourisman asked me to come in to discuss a fair price. Heck no! I will go to their competitors who are thoughtful, kind and fair at the onset, rather than try to haggle down to MSRP with them. Ourisman has set a very low bar for themselves in this instance which only leads me to believe that this thought process is prevalent throughout. They should be ashamed of themselves... BTW you can order a Telluride in Muncie IN, your exact dream car, for Costco prices UNDER MSRP, and have it shipped to you rather than paying an extra 10,000 dollars. Yes, Ourisman demands 10,000 dollars MORE!! Utterly selfish, greedy and unbelievable. I am truly disgusted. More
My Ourisman KIA experience started on the positive side but ended on the other side of the spectrum. I requested an “Out the door” price on a 2019 Sorento SXL, price given $42,228.70. I knew this was a dec but ended on the other side of the spectrum. I requested an “Out the door” price on a 2019 Sorento SXL, price given $42,228.70. I knew this was a decent price but replied with a lower offer to see if it would work. The internet manager said she could not negotiate further and I needed to come in to the dealership to talk to a manager. I did not feel like making the 45min-1hour drive so I figured I would call the next day. I received a generic General Manager email stating they did not want to lose my business, so I responded and to their credit he called the next evening. I told him what I was asking for (acceptance of my counter offer) he wanted to know what price did I received from the Internet Manager. Mr. Brown (GM) seemed to become very agitated at the $42,228 price point and stated “You should jump on it as it will not get any lower” my response was “Yes, I will buy it at $42,228”. He then said “I will talk to Jeanne (Internet Manager) and call you back in a few minutes”. It was @ 20 minutes later that Mr. Brown called and said “The $42,228 is not going to work, we want to keep your business. How about 43,899 (approximate number) will you take it?” My response was “What happened to the $42,228? GM- “She made a mistake and we have a disclaimer so you won’t get that price!” I was dumbfounded, he didn’t even offer to split the difference. After dealing with 2 other Northern Virginia Kia dealerships who have their own issues, as in trying to sell a vehicle advertised with 7 miles but actually had 3500 as a loaner, I was disgusted at the whole Kia car buying experience. So future Kia purchasers be wary of your Northern VA Kia dealerships, the much advertised Family friendly, were looking out for you, our customers are number 1, xx they spew is exactly that. Try dealerships down south, West Virginia or Maryland. More

It was a Saturday and the whole family were able to get lunch there while we were getting paperwork taken care of etc. engine warranty for the life time we own the vehicle if serviced at Kia, which is great as we intend to keep them for a while. The first response (and fastest by far) was from Crystal Mullins-Kerns, the Internet Manager at Ourisman Kia. Crystal didn't offer us a good price...she offered us an unbelievable price. So, we headed to Ourisman where Crystal introduced us to Caroline Condon, who was the very picture of patience, thoroughness and professionalism as she walked us through the process. This is the second Kia Soul for my family, but our first from Ourisman. My wife and I were dreading the process, but thanks to Caroline and Dan Carrico (a true professional who made the Finance portion completely palatable), this was actually a pleasant experience, in fact my (our) best car buying experience ever. And to top it off, Caroline took a picture of my daughter, and my wife and I in front of my daughter's new yellow Soul, complete with a giant red bow...a very nice touch. We had a great experience at Ourisman Kia and I highly recommend them. Thanks!!! More

I've purchased new vehicles before but never had anyone lie to me about pulling my credit. I gave Kia the rights to pull my credit and when they did pull it I received an email notification about an inquiry. Derek came by about 15 minutes later and was asking me all kinds of questions and pretended that didn't pull my credit. I confronted him about it but he got up and walked away. He was very unprofessional with his rude comments and jabs that he kept throwing. I've never ever been disrespected like that at a car dealership before. He has made my car buying experience a nightmare. I'm so glad I walked away and bought a car from another location. I'm not sure if Derek was having a bad day or not but he needs to lose that attitude when he's in front of a client. More
Stand by your products! ZERO Star; 1 is way too generous! I bought a 2020 Kia Soul. The horn system has a failure. I learned of this issue while driving on a highway and close to getting into an accident. Had I bought a 2020 Kia Soul. The horn system has a failure. Dealership tells me to take it up with Kia and that i'm stuck with the car! Stuck with a brand new car with a failed safety system. More
