Purchase of an XC90 Jesus Garcia was very thorough in test driving it & explaining its features. The office & show room a bit cramped but they made it personable. The XC90 has the advanced safety, operational, IT & comfort features that are setting industry standards & are orward looking to make the XC90 a "smart car" for many years to come. Coincidence - I don't think so. On Friday, August 09, 2019, I brought my 2002 Volvo T5 in for what I thought would be a simple service - an oil change. This turned into replacing the On Friday, August 09, 2019, I brought my 2002 Volvo T5 in for what I thought would be a simple service - an oil change. This turned into replacing the right side engine pad, the lower trans torque mount, and the oil cap seal. The technician noticed that there was oil spilled by the spark plugs and the cam seal area. $871.08 later I drove the car home. On Monday, August 13, 2019, I drove about 20 miles and the red engine light went off and I got a message to shut the engine off - no oil. Now, despite the technician having noticed the oil in the cam seal area, I'm told that the cam seals are blown and that it this was just a coincidence. Before service, there was NO OIL leaking from my car - at all. My garage floor has always been clean. The dealership is trying to convince me that this was just a coincidence. For a car that has only been maintained by the dealership, they either noticed it and did nothing - or they didn't notice it and put both me and the car in danger. Before I left the dealership I had thoughts of buying a new Volvo (it would have been my third) - NOT NOW! It looks like the next car might just be an Audi. They don't name the technician who worked on the car in the report - would love to give him a negative rating. More
