Scheduled a test drive in early June with Nyiem Brown (a young associate). No doubt he assumed we would not be back as we didn't need the car until about August 1. We visited 2 other dealerships in the interim. Called back in early July and rec'd a good lease offer. Rec'd zero pressure from dealership of Nyiem. Put down a deposit in mid-July and ordered the car exactly to our options. Turned out that the car was no available locally though they would be able to deliver one from Virginia. In lieu of that, they did have an SE-R arriving that they offered for a few more dollars a month - better deal for them (no needing to transport the car) and much better deal for us. I'm a gear head and driven professionally in the past. I've bought, built and leased probably 30 cars in my day. I DREAD going to dealerships with the expectation of pressure and "bait & switch" from staff! I received none of that at Open Road. Both Nyiem and Jose (in finance) were calm and kind. They even went so far as to bring the car out with a huge red ribbon which was a very sweet gesture. Rec'd lots of little unrequested extras and a grateful sendoff. Extremely pleased with this leasing transaction from start to finish! Highly recommended. More

I am yet to receive it despite numerous texts, calls - they dont pick up calls. They tell lies and basically I have given them money for a car which is not under my name yet. I am going to take legal action . These guys just waste your time , dont buy anything from them More
Phony dealership! Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. Don’t bother complaining if you have an issue- sales people hang up on you when you- Stephen Khan and Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. Don’t bother complaining if you have an issue- sales people hang up on you when you- Stephen Khan and GM Anthony Riccardi don’t return calls or emails. They are everything negative tied to car dealerships and they don’t care about the brand-They only Care about the sale instead of thinking of lifetime business. I like VW but the dealership makes me reconsider my choice just because of the aggravation and experience. My post purchase experience was a complete flop. Atlas Cross Sport SEL wireless charging pad doesn’t work. Make sure you cover everything on the window sticker and make sure they write everything on your contract. Test every feature before you take the car. When I called I was told charging station should be a last resort???? Every dealership does not offer same standard features like a trunk cover-I was promised one- never received. Swag offered- never received. Request callbacks never receive- unless you’re purchasing the car. Also I had to chase them to pay my previous vehicle disposition. They actually deserve a zero- if you’ve had negative feedback email vwcarercmteam@vw.com They need to know they have crap representation. More
These people are just cheats. Don't believe a word of any of the 5 star reviewers, I bet they're related to the owners. I mean, seriously. I was having transmission problems. Don't believe a word of any of the 5 star reviewers, I bet they're related to the owners. I mean, seriously. I was having transmission problems. The transmission is under warranty they assured me, but to figure out for sure if it was a transmission problem, I needed to pay them $1,000 for the diagnostic. I paid them $300 to get my car back (they didn't do anything up to that point) and took it to Queensboro VW who fixed it fair and square. Super helpful, personal and nice. Do yourself a favor and take your VW to Queensboro, it's right off the subway, just as easy to get to. Oh and ps, the sales people in the showroom are utter morons. More
I had a great experience with Jeff Hodge and Andre Rosales. I fell in love with a blue Taos but it took both of them working together to find a package that I could afford. The personnel and policies of Open Road Manhattan are a discredit to the VW and Audi brands. I can honestly say that I've never been treated so poorly or felt so cheated and disrespected. My estimate incre discredit to the VW and Audi brands. I can honestly say that I've never been treated so poorly or felt so cheated and disrespected. My estimate increased by over $1000, it took longer than estimated with no communication about progress, and at the end, they tried to sneak in $300 of undisclosed charges. Amanda Nikolic and Anthony Riccardi have established a new low in what it means to be professional, helpful, kind, courteous, and empathetic. They do, however, excel at being sleazy and smug. More

I brought my VW Tiguan to their service center because my roof was leaking when it rained. I thought I had more time on my warranty but I arrived they informed me that I had a few more months on my warranty roof was leaking when it rained. I thought I had more time on my warranty but I arrived they informed me that I had a few more months on my warranty but it was over the mileage (understandable). They said my best bet was to file a claim with my insurance and I should just have to pay for the diagnostic cost (and my deductible). I started the claim process with insurance while I left the car for the diagnostic test. They ran the car under a shower to find the source of the leak but called to tell me they couldn't find a leak, no water was coming through. I then sent over pictures from the last time in rained showing a huge water stain on my roof and water dripping on the dash. From these pictures they decided that the drains around my sun roof needed to be cleared, and "since insurance was paying for it" the drains should also be replaced. Again, this was after finding nothing from their own ($280) diagnostic test. They then sent a quote of over $4,000 for the repair and replacement of the drains, $3,000 of which was just labor cost. They quoted 12 hours of labor. While I was waiting for a response to the quote from my insurance company something wasn't sitting right with me. The exorbitant cost aside, the representatives use of the phrase "since insurance is paying for it" to justify the replacement of the drains made me think I was being quoted for more work than I needed. Even if my insurance did cover the bulk of the charges, I was still looking at a $500 deductible on top of that diagnostic fee. After a few calls I ended up bringing the car to a mechanic I trusted to get a second opinion. He spent an hour with the car and told me there was nothing wrong with my drains at all, that there were actually cracks in the plastic lining of my sunroof and that was how the water was leaking in. It cost me $250 and two hours of labor (he put a polymer in to seal the cracks). VW was going to charge me $4000 for a problem I didn't have. I know that I can expect higher labor costs and an up sell on services when I bring my car to a dealership service center over a local mechanic, but this was above and beyond. They would have charged me that crazy price and I still would have had a leaky roof! More
