Bait and Switch I went to this dealership since they were part of the Costco Auto buying program. I was given a price over the phone by Elizabeth Pereyra of $25,886. I went to this dealership since they were part of the Costco Auto buying program. I was given a price over the phone by Elizabeth Pereyra of $25,886. When I asked about my trade she referred me to their website where you could get an estimate of your trade based on information about the car. She assured me that unless something was significantly different than the info I entered, the trade value would be pretty close to the estimate given of $11,200. I wanted to know what I was going to be paying before going to the dealership. When I get to the dealership the first price I was given was $28,387 for the car and $7,000 for my trade. I asked why was the Costco price $2,500 higher than the price I was given over the phone and why was the trade $4,000 less than the estimate given from their website. The salesman, (forgot his name) said there were some scratches on the car. I told him his price was ridiculous and I was leaving. He comes back with $9,000 for my car. It was still no where near the quote I was given over the phone and I told him I want the deal I was quoted over the phone. He leaves again and come back with a final price of $21,800 all in taxes and fees. I reiterated I wanted the deal I was quoted over the phone and his response was they couldn't do that. He was very upset and ripped up the paper with the numbers and throws it in the garbage as we got up. The best part of this is, I bought the same car at another dealership and paid $18,600 all in with fees and taxes. Make sure you are an informed customer before going to this dealership. More
