I ended up buying a car there and i must admit it was the smoothest purchase i have ever made. She made the experience that much greater. I will definitely be back. THANK YOU GINA! More

Rude Behaviour Went in to buy a Honda Accord. Was brought in by online department. We are told Patrick will help us. First we go into his cubicle. There is no extra Went in to buy a Honda Accord. Was brought in by online department. We are told Patrick will help us. First we go into his cubicle. There is no extra chair. I am standing while my friends sit. No courtesy to offer a chair. When asked , told me to pull a chair from another office. We havent seen the car yet but he has credit application ready. Asked him if we can see the car, he says we do not have it in this parking lot. Told him the deal online says something else and you are saying something else. His response is its perfectly legal. The Ad was written by a lawyer. We own 5 dealerships.... Then he goes like you dont have a credit yet and your co signer is not here so there is no point. Then he goes like the person who gave you online quote is not here either. Anyhow I wanted to leave and not waste time. One of the manager came in and changed the sales person. The car came out from the same lot. The person we dealt with later on was nice. The senior guy came out and apologized too. I have bought multiple cars ranging from honda, toyotas to BMW and even cars from their own dealership but have never been dealt with this way. They certainly need to work on it if they do not want returning customers to go to other dealerships. More
Good experience - bought a used 2011 Honda CR-V LX I was overall very pleased with buying my used car at Open Road Honda. The salesman Sam could very fast identify the car I was looking for, gave me a lot of explanation, we did a test-drive together and I got relevant information, and although the price-negotation took us quite some time he did his very best efforts to come to a deal. The only thing that I did not like are the extra costs that come on top of the listed price, which resulted in the more difficult part of the price negotiation, Open Road Honda could be more transparant on this area. I needed quite some help with all the formalities on registration, getting an insurance etc.. and Sam was very helpfull and responsive on this during the entire process. My car also still needed some service on the brakes which was very well taken care of by Stan. Professional and excellent service. Overall a good experience. More
MISLEADING SALES PROMOTIONS, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT First of all let me start by saying, these people do not respect customers. They let them roam around freely around the lot without any acknowledgemen First of all let me start by saying, these people do not respect customers. They let them roam around freely around the lot without any acknowledgement or a simple "can I help you?". 2nd of all, they do not respect your intellect and simply think you're stupid and you won't read what the asterisk next to a price means; In other words the "fine line". They had a sign in the showroom which had a 2013 Honda Accord EX advertised for $20,995 which had an asterisk next to it. The asterisk read the flowing on the bottom of the sign: "*Price excludes destination, tax, and fees, plus military/college grad rebate. Above special is non-transferable and can not be combined with any dealer specials, coupons etc. Call dealer for details. Expires 6/2/14." I typed that exactly as it was written underneath the sign. Our sales associate then proceeded to crunch numbers and added 20,995+500 student+500 military+ fees and taxes which brought the price of the vehicle close to 25,500. I then asked him why was he adding the 500+500 rebates in the price if they aren't included as per the asterisk, meaning if the price advertised on the sign is without any rebates or discounts, why is the rebate added on to the advertised price? He then had the audacity to tell me that I was reading the sign wrong and questioned my intelligence. I'M THE CUSTOMER BRO! YOU NEVER TELL A CUSTOMER HE'S WRONG! NEVER! I've been in retail most of my life and worked at various retail chains/stores and despite of customer disputes about pricing I have never told any customer that he's wrong about anything, instead I would accept the mistake and simply apologize or walk away and find out correct information. This particular individual was an egotistic sales person with 5 stars to his rank or he was just simply tired and had a long day. But in any case, how can you add a $1000 rebate to a price which the asterisk clearly states that it excludes all fees, taxes, rebates? His explanation was that, the price is with rebate and since you do not qualify we add the rebates on top of the advertised price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the purpose of an asterisk or a fine line is to tell people that the base price do not include any rebates or any other restrictions? I mean if anything it should've read that it includes the $500 grad and $500 military discount and since you don't qualify we will mark up the vehicle a $1000 MORE than the advertised price. He then gets a manager or a supervisor whom also tells me that I'm wrong and I read the sign wrong or interpreting it wrong. I also told him the same thing but he seemed to side with the sales guy. We then stopped arguing due to lack of these peoples integrity. We obviously wasted his and our time on a beautiful memorial day and simply walked out just the way the sales guy walked away from us after shaking our hands. I will definitely contact honda corporate and have them clarify this promotion as this individual said that it wasn't in the dealerships hands and the promotion was actually passed down from honda corporate. His exact words were "this is how it works, this is how it gets people in" I meant to ask him if he meant that "since we're deceptive and manipulative about our promotions that's how we trap people into deals." Best price in Tri-State area for my 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L Open Road Honda had the best OTD price hands-down. My wife and I spoke with Jay Kim. I highly recommended him. He's very courteous and accomodating Open Road Honda had the best OTD price hands-down. My wife and I spoke with Jay Kim. I highly recommended him. He's very courteous and accomodating. He was really hustling going from the car to the manager to get everything done. He's very hard working. I would definitely do buy another Honda from him. Also, Michelle from the internet team was very helpful. She gave the best OTD price that no one could match and they kept their word all the way to us signing on the dotted line. The only drawback would be not getting the 1.9% APR we were quoted in addition to the flex cash, but that was more on Honda corp. In the end, my wife and I were happy with our purchase and look to enjoy this Odyssey for years to come with our newborn son. Jeff P. More
