Had to call the Service Manager, Gary and informed him of what happened. Unfortunately, he has no control over that dept. I'm extremely disappointed with this dept and even mentioned uhaul could do it. "well, call uhaul then" ....really? More

The brakes felt soft and made some noise when engaged. Josh was very helpful and informed me what was needed. We replaced the brakes on the front and back, using some coupons on the Olathe Ford Service website. Overall, a 5 star experience. More

I had my 2008 Ford Escape towed there when I suspected a bad transmission problem because the vehicle was intermittently seizing up on the road and running rough. Olathe Ford’s technicians road-tested my vehicle and indicated they had done some sort of test in the shop that confirmed a failed transmission pump. Recommendation? New transmission. I have an aftermarket warranty that specified that if the diagnosis were confirmed upon a tear out of the transmission, it would have required a replacement with a used transmission. Jason indicated Olathe Ford’s policy forbade them from doing that, so I had the vehicle moved down the street to Olathe Transmission. Olathe Transmission determined the problem was actually collapsed brake hoses that prevented fluid from reaching the brakes properly. This was causing the brakes to seize up and cause the problem. This shop that makes their money on transmission work determined there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Cost to replace the brake hoses was a mere $283 instead of the several thousand a transmission replacement would have been. I am back on the road and my vehicle is running great. Olathe Ford either badly misdiagnosed the problem out of incompetence or was prepared to commit fraud. I confess I do not know which it is, but I would never return for service under any circumstance. If they have any integrity at all, at a bare minimum they will refund the $99.95 they charged my warranty company for such a horrible mistake, or worse, an intentional one. More

Joe seemed to know the Flex quite well, had good follow up after I left and I thought did the right amount of follow up without being pushy. I would recommend Olathe Ford and would encourage family and friends to see what they have in stock and to ask for Joe Stoker. More
