As such, purchasing a new key with a remote start button would not enable the remote start functionality in your vehicle. I'm not sure how taking my order, losing my order, accusing me of picking up my order and trying to get another one for free before admitting he never actually ordered the part, *actually* placing the order, calling with updates on the order, scheduling the installation, adding "remote start" to the reciept invoice, installing the new key while we waited for 3 hours was an attempt from Chaz and the team to communicate that remote start couldn't be completed. Talk about a miscommunication. It wasn't until the wrong thing was already installed that someone called and told me what I wanted wasn't possible. You didn't charge for the key I didn't want while making the original extra key I already had obsolete. That isn't exactly customer service.

When you initially brought the aftermarket key to us, we informed you that it could not be programmed into your vehicle. We initially estimated a 15-minute timeframe for key programming, but unfortunately, despite our earlier assurances, we encountered unexpected delays, including issues with back-ordered parts. After two months, we discovered that programming the key was not feasible without reprogramming the ECM, which would involve an additional cost of $600. We understand this has been a disappointing experience, and we genuinely apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this has caused. Please know that we did not charge you for the key programming attempts, and we appreciate your patience throughout this process. If your labor is “consistently” $180 can u explain to me why they charged me $360? They found a way, invented a reason and charged me $360. When I brought the car in the day before they were already trying to charge me $360, after I told him that was not what I was quoted he went to the “manager” and came back saying they’ll honor the quoted price, however after keeping me there waiting for 2-3 hrs he came back saying they couldn’t connect the key to the computer so they needed to try more things, they took me home nd the next day I was charged just what they wanted in the first place $360 ….. I’m sure you’ll find the way to “mansplain” that to me, I’m only writing this so ppl are aware how u guys work there, and you’re not the only ones either, all car mechanics do the exact same thing, especially when they deal w a woman!!
