The service department was quite helpful. We had the TDI timing belt changed at a different location than this Volkswagen. During that service apparently the service technician caused a sensor to move at the improper time. Initially was under the warranty program; however, blamed the other recent work and we got the bill. Diagnosis follows: found g505 differential pressure sensor to have been melted, found timing belt had been recently replaced. found no signs of exhaust leak, found improper movement of sensor can cause sensor to crack at hose and allow exhaust gasses to melt sensor. Not sure how other tech could do that. Over $1,000 later and multiple weeks, got car back. More

I was traveling across the country and had an on going problem with the car. I asked them to install a sensor at my request. The process up front was good but things shifted when we got into finance. The numbers were moved around and not explained properly.
