I have taken my Honda Civic to O'Donnell for service for the last ten years. I have always been impressed with the work and the great customer service. So, when it came time to buy another car, I looked at what O'Donnell had to offer first. We found two possibilities for a used vehicle at O'Donnell. The online information was informative and the photos helpful. There was an internet price listed and a contact page for an additional sale price. I filled the form out and was contacted the next morning by Mr. Simon. After inquiring about the added discount, he said he would call me back shortly. He did and then quoted a lower price. (After price checking other similar cars online, I found the price fair.) We went in that afternoon and Mr. Simon had the car ready for us to test drive. He also immediately pointed out one small area of damage to the paint and said they would fix that. When we returned he had also pulled out the other possibility to show us and we test drove that as well. We also told Mr. Simon we wanted to trade the car we came in, so he had it appraised while we took the test drive. When we returned, we had decided to buy the first car. Mr. Simon walked us through everything in a friendly, courteous manner. For the final paper signing, we went to the manager's office. This gentleman was also friendly, courteous and, while making us aware of other products (lo-jack, etc.), did not pressure us to buy anything we didn't want. Finally, Mr. Simon arranged for us to bring the car back in a few days so the damaged paint could be repaired. This was done so well that I can not tell where the damage was located. All in all, a great experience and just what I expected from O'Donnell. More
Yesterday, my wife pulled up to her office at the same time as her boss in our 2012 Nissan Rouge. He commented that she was driving a nice car and asked if it was new. She answered, "No! We have bought 3 cars since then." In the past 6 months we purchased 3 cars from Chris, a wonderful patient calm salesperson, at O'donnell Honda. This past summer we bought a Nissan Rouge from a local Nissan dealership. I did my pricing homework in advance, checked pricing with our proprietary car buying service, verified pricing at the dealership then went into the dealership with all the documentation. We knew exactly what we wanted. To make a long story short, we got close to the price we wanted, but not until they had some moaning and groaning and finally a complaint about our car buying service that it causes too much problems and that they will be discontinuing their relationship with them. A few months later, my son's car died and we were again in the market for a new car. This time after doing some homework, we decided to go with a 2012 Honda Accord. This time I looked on line to see how various dealerships rate, and I saw good things about O'donnell Honda. I sent an email request for on-line purchasing and Chris Counsel promptly responded and quoted me a price LOWER than my buying service. I came in, and I got a happy attitude and great service, and drove the car off the lot soon after. A few months later, my oldest daughter needed a vehicle to get to work. This time I didn't shop around for a dealership. I called up Chris Counsel at O'donnell Honda and we spoke for a few minutes. That night I drove home a new 2012 Honda Accord for an unbeatable price. According to my car buying service, I got the best price in the state of Maryland. In January, my second daughter returned to the USA after spending a year and a half in college in Europe. She was now going to continue her studies at a local university, so she too needed a car. Once again, I emailed Chris Counsel at O'donnell Honda. This time I did not do any pricing in advance. We set time to come in. We looked at a couple of cars, and then the deal was done. We drove off the lot with a 2013 Honda Civic. Only after I got home did I check the pricing with my car buying service, and my suspicion was confirmed. O'donnell Honda's price was less then the recommended price of my car buying service. Lessons learned: O'donnell Honda has a great pricing structure. I got exceptional prices with each of my THREE purchases in the past six months. There is no need to haggle with pricing with O'donnell Honda....and finally, Chris Counsel is NOT your stereotypical car salesman - if you want to deal with a no pressure, straightforward and honest salesman, then call CHRIS COUNSEL. (I would be remiss in this review if I didn't compliment the finance department. Rajiv in finance is the icing on the cake of this easy-to-deal-with dealership. Once again, he is professional, patient, helpful and courteous. A pleasure to deal with each of the three times I purchased a vehicle). More
I only have nice things to say about ODonnell Honda. This was my 4th car purchased from them and each encounter has been great. Brian gave me the best deal ever, Jason had the finances squared away in a flash and Chris took the time and had the patience to show me all of the new features the Pilot has. I could not have gotten better service anywhere else. I think everyone should rush right over and buy a new Honda from ODonnell Honda!!!! You will be glad you did!! More
We returned to O'Donnell Honda after buying an Odyssey there 10 years earlier. We'd shopped around for a used 2011 Fit but at O'Donnell we got a new 2013 one that would cost us less over the life Odyssey there 10 years earlier. We'd shopped around for a used 2011 Fit but at O'Donnell we got a new 2013 one that would cost us less over the life of a 60 month loan. Plus they treated us great, with almost no fooling around, and Mike Garvey and manager Ken, who sold us the Odyssey, threw in a couple dealer extras for us. Thanks, guys, I recommend and would return without hesitation. More

Chris was great . He was very pleasent to work with. He was honest, kind , patient and most of all did not pressure me. He went above and beyond. He is the best salesperson I have ever worked with! This was the most best experience that I have had when buying a car. Chris Councill was very helpful and excellent with customer service. I work at Nordstrom so I know. Salesman was very helpful, however the manager was very rude and very unprofessional. I say this because I came to the dealership with my own finiancing. I was questioning why they need to run a credit rep rude and very unprofessional. I say this because I came to the dealership with my own finiancing. I was questioning why they need to run a credit report and was not answered (it was ran while I was still questioning why) The manager came over to us while we were with the salesman and began talking to the salesman concerning me and never acknowleged me setting there. He told the salesman that the car could not be given to us that night unless we had a credit check done and if not than we would have to write a check for the car and bring back the money we were approved. We agreed that we would do that but the credit check was done any way. Than he proceed to say that the insurance policy card did not have the purchasers name on it. I told him that the policy has his name on it, we were told they have no way of checking since it was Saturday and things are closed. When we try explaining he was VERY RUDE. If it wasn't for the salesman. we would have left and not purchsed the car. I must say that the finance man was very polite and professional. More

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with courtesy and respect from the O'Donnell staff. Our salesperson, Stan Bailey couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and knowledgable. When we informed him of the model in which we were interested, he quickly arranged for a test drive. I loved the car and when I got back, the only task left was to agree on a price. I had already done some research on current pricing, so I had an idea of what to expect, but we were still pleasantly suprised when were we offered a price hundreds of dollars under invoice! In addition, we were able to arrange for a loan through Honda at a very competitive interest rate. Never once during this process was there any pressure to buy something we didn't want. I really appreciated this. The service center cleaned and preped the car so that it was immaculate when wew took delivery. Stan made sure that I was comfortable with all features before I left the lot. My wife is going to need a new car in a couple of years. Guess where we'll be going! Mike Wagner More
