I originally stopped in to see what was available in a low-mileage used vehicle. I had no intention of buying anything that day, I just wanted ideas. Gary spent a lot of time with me on Thursday, compar low-mileage used vehicle. I had no intention of buying anything that day, I just wanted ideas. Gary spent a lot of time with me on Thursday, comparing used to new, and explaining the differences in the cost of each. It soon became obvious that the cost of a late model (used) car was not that much less than a brand new one. If you consider the 100,000 mile warranty and no milage on the 1213, that became the smarter choice. Gary worked with me on the financing, and gave me instructions on all of the bells and whistles that the Elantra offers. Gary even drove home with me and unloaded 10 bags of mulch out of my trunk, so I wouldn't have to transfer it into the new car. Gary followed up with a phone call the very next day (his day off) to make sure that I was happy with the car and to see if I had any questions. Even though I had no intention of buying a car last Thursday, I'm really glad that I did. I would highly recommend Tarbox, and especially GARY, to anyone interested in a new car purchase. More

I had a great experience here. I was treated very nicely and the customer service was great. I came in just to get some prices and luckily the prices I was looking at another dealership with, were matched o and the customer service was great. I came in just to get some prices and luckily the prices I was looking at another dealership with, were matched on a better deal. I recommend this dealership for two reasons: 1) I received a price far better than any of the other Hyundai dealerships I approached, and 2) I really liked my salesman, Paul Kopicki. He was straightforward, never pushy, answered all my questions. And when he or the dealership made mistakes -- and boy did they make mistakes -- he owned up to them. He never got defensive or tried to blame someone else. The mistakes: 1) I was on my way to pick up the car when they told me it wouldn't be ready for another week. They'd forgotten a detail involved in registering a car in another state (Mass.). 2) The eventual paperwork had errors that had to be corrected and redone. 3) Just as I was ready to leave the dealership with my new car, I noticed a small dent on the side. 4) When I arrived at the dealership for my appointment to have it fixed, they told me a mistake was made in scheduling. They would have to reschedule. (That was more than an hour out of my work day.) The dent is repaired and I think my drama with the dealership is over. I should also mention that on my first visit to Tarbox, the sales manager was inexplicably hostile to me. I suspect it was an old-school car salesman tactic to make me think he was angry at the price I was getting. I could be wrong. Either way, it was strange. More

I've been preparing to buy a car for since March. I was initially looking for an Azzera which was not in the showroom yet. I met Svaing Kim and he was very professional, and called me several times over t initially looking for an Azzera which was not in the showroom yet. He was not pushy, just following through on my sales inquiry. When I was ready to buy, I found him and the car I ended up buying that same day. The dealer manager & the business manager were friendly,very helpful and professional. It was a great experience! More
It is difficult to write this review. The overall experience at Tarbox Hyundai was good. Angelo was a very good sales person and Mark, the manager, was also very good. My husband and I have both purc experience at Tarbox Hyundai was good. Angelo was a very good sales person and Mark, the manager, was also very good. My husband and I have both purchased our cars from Tarbox Hyundai and Tarbox Toyota so the choice to come to Tarbox was natural to look for a used car for our son. Both Angelo and Mark told us it is difficult to find what we were looking for for under $10,000. Angelo showed us the 2011 Accent that had a little over 30,000 on the odometer. We went for a test drive, and other than it not having power locks and windows really liked the car for our son as this is his first car. We decided to take the car. We were told that it couldn't be much more discounted than it was already and we ended up purchasing it for $13,710. We purchased the extended warranty for $1600 because 30,000 had already been used up on the warranty and since my son will be attending college it is better to have this warranty versus worrying about paying for repairs. In hindsight, we should have not purchased the car right away. When we returned home with the car, my son loved it and was happy and excited. My dissatisfaction came when I looked up some information on the car and found the price for a new 2012 Hyunda Accent. The new Accent sold for $16165. Our total price with the warranty was $15415 which is about $700 less than a new one with no mileage. I felt dissappointed by the dealership as I would have thoguht that they would have mentionted that we could get a new one for $700 more. I do understand that car delearships make more money on used cars than they do on used cars. However, we went from $10,000 to $15,415 so they could have at least told us about the 2012 models. I'm disspointed because I felt that there was a level of honesty at this dealership that was not at other dealerships that I've done business with. I've had company cars so I have dealt a lot with other dealerships. I guess from Tarbox's point of view, this was an awesome sale, from our point of view after the fact, not so much. I was planning to look at trading in my Sante Fe and getting a new car but I think at this point I will just wait. More
