With few exceptions, everyone I talked to and from written reviews, this dealership has an excellent reputation in the sales department and the all-important service department as well. I was very nervous about getting a car because the last time I purchased a car, I went to a place where I was swindled. So I was very nervous about how this experience would be. Angelo approached me and asked what I was looking for, he asked many questions to find out what my price range was and also wanted to make sure he wasn't dragging me around the lot where I might have fell in love with a car then get let down because of the price. he showed me some cars in my price range and I was not exactly in love with the cars; he could tell by my face that I wasn't into the cars he was showing me. he called the tarbox in north Kingstown and told me that there was a car there he knew I would love that falls into my price range. We drove there which was 10 mins away and then I drove the car back; 2009 scion tc. he was right, I did not want to get out of the car. I wanted it! It was stylish and affordable. I didn't feel pressured at all. Angelo did everything he could and beyond to help me out. He was patient, and friendly. He answered all the questions I had, he didn't miss anything. He showed me all the features of the car; inside and out. I will definitely go back for future purchases, as well as recommend tarbox to all my friends. I then decided that I would try toyota Hyundai and check them out( for used car) They had nothing in my price range that would fit my budget, something I had aLREADY DISCOVERED. Marc was the salesman that approched me, answered a few questions about the used cars and then mentioned a lease> Showed me some vehicles he had and I test drove the Elantra, which handled very well and seats and steering wheel were adjustable for me. I'm short and need that feature.Marc also explained a lot of the features of the car and how they worked. He was very patient and friendly. I was having a difficult time deciding what the best thing to do. It was hard to Decide what to do as I wasn't in the market for a new car. We sat inside for some time figuring and also had to consider the extra insurane and we called my insurance agent and got a quote. After I decided to lease the car Marc spoke to the insurance agent and gave them all the info they needed to insure the car. He was very patient with me as I was there a very long time. He figured everything and the payment was well within my budget, so I am very pleased to say that Marc was great,knew what he was talking about and explained everything to me. He even made a call to me today to ask me if I had any questions and I f I did to call him any time. Before I left with car Marc programed my cell phone into blue tooth, thats still new to me LOL but very handy.I am now driving a red Hyundai Elantra, It's beautiful!!! Thank You marc!! This was my first time buying a non american car and with Hyundai. My experience was great from the onset. Al was my salesman and had only been there 2 weeks but his extensive knowledge as a care salesman was very obvious. his friendly demeanor and easy going nature put me right at ease. He took me for my test drives and listened and met my requirements, the financial expert was also very helpful and assisted me in obtaining the best possible rate. Al followed thru with calls after the sale to make sure I had no issues especially with the blue tooth system since it was totally foreign to me. Overall it was the easiest ,respectful,car transaction I have ever experience, so much so that I have recommended both Anna and Al to my son who will be looking in a few months.
