I am on my fourth Hyundai never had an issue when it was owned by Tarbox, My wife's car wouldn't start so I had it towed to Nucar I was told that the car needed an engine, and I said fine its under warranty owned by Tarbox, My wife's car wouldn't start so I had it towed to Nucar I was told that the car needed an engine, and I said fine its under warranty, two weeks later they still hadn't looked at the car. After three weeks i began to get rather testy and went there, the service writer had a mechanic look at the car to verify the engine was bad, lo and behold it wasn't the engine it only needed a starter. I referred my son and his wife there they purchased a new Hyundai my daughter in law called to make an appointment for an oil change they confirmed a 9am appointment at 1030 she inquired about the status and was told it was first come first served on oil changes why bother making an appointment. This service department is terrible, I am in the market for a new car but am very hesitant to purchase there because of the service. I am seriously thinking about going to pride More

The exemplary professionalism t experience we had at the NUCAR Hyundai of North Kingston dealership, particularly the sales associate William McGraw. The exemplary professionalism that he provided to us over the course of a month during the search, sale, and post sale customer support was was so greatly appreciated. He provided us with so much information about our new Hyundai and assisted us with the phone app. When we drove off the dealership lot we were very comfortable with all the wonderful attributes to be found on the interior and the exterior of our new Hyundai. I highly recommend this dealership and most definitely recommend finding William McGraw to introduce you to your new Hyundai. A+++ dealership . We drove in from Maine to do business with them and it was 100% worth it. More

Service center used subpar and unsafe rope plug on tire repair. Plug failed within 20 minutes of use and resulted in dangerously low tire pressure on highway. I brought the vehicle to a local tire shop repair. Plug failed within 20 minutes of use and resulted in dangerously low tire pressure on highway. I brought the vehicle to a local tire shop and the staff there were shocked that a dealership would use this type of plug and patch, as it is not recommended (and in their experience is usually used by shady and cheap third party mechanics). This also made the tire unrepairable, so I believe the dealership used this patch purposefully so we would come back and buy tires from them after the plug fails. I would recommend getting your service elsewhere. More

I purchased a 2022 Tuscon in June. Had a mechanical issue and it took 4 weeks to even get an appointment. The only reason for 2 stars is Nate, Service Manager who is wonderful. This is the 6th car that I have purchased from Tarbox and their name should not even be associated with Nucar. The initial purchase and subsequent issue was met with a "too bad" attitude; again, with the exception of Nate. Stuck with an expensive car payment and extremely unhappy. I also recommended the Tuscon to a friend. She purchased a 2023 for $500 less and it included the power lift gate. More

I recently visited the dealership and was met by Lynn Holston. I was interested in a car that was coded as "in transit". Lynn was very courteous and knowledgeable.
