Update (worse if that is even possible): When we asked for a loaner car while the AC was being fixed - we were told they didn't have any but they could put us on a waiting list. Apparently, a lot of other people are having issues with their Hyundai's too. Later, we were told it was something to do with the air compressor - and that it probably occurred while we were driving the car and wouldn't be covered by the bumper to bumper warranty that came with the car :|. It was going to cost us ~1K to repair it. We researched the issue on line and discovered that it is really unlikely to occur in new cars due to time and well covered position of the part. It sounded like a manufacturers problem. They acknowledged then that it would be very hard to prove either way. So , we went back and forth with Hub Hyundai and they finally gave in to letting the warranty cover the repair work. We were then notified that the part was "accidentally" ground shipped instead of being overnight-ed. So, now I have been without my new lemon of a car for a week and the part isn't even there yet. Worst experience EVER!!!!
