I considered other makes and models and several other dealers, including four other Toyota dealers and was stunned at how aggressive car dealers are. So I was glad Eli Castillo was the exception to the norm. His calm, easy-going demeanor helped me feel I was in good hands. He said he was like that with everyone and would always be no-pressure and honest. I quickly learned that his statement was uncommonly true. He’s one of the good guys. (I must also say that my time with the finance manager was far from as good as my experience with Eli. I’ve since found that finance managers have worse reputations than car dealers do. Be alert and prepared, take your time, double-check all numbers.) Eli continues to be helpful when I’ve contacted him with after-purchase questions. I also appreciated other salesman at the dealership who answered questions I stopped by to ask as I was learning the car’s functions I was unfamiliar with. Gina Vasquez of Customer Relations was also especially nice and helpful. The front of the folder I was given that includes all the purchase paperwork says, “North Hollywood Toyota.
