Came back home after the f Helped my grandpa buy a 2020 at4 last year and it was great the dealership was great until the first oil change they did. Came back home after the first oil change on this 70,000$ truck and they had left the oil drain plug loose so it leaked all over our driveway and we had no truck to use. They took it back supposedly fixed it and sent it back leaking oil again but they didn’t even know until I had mentioned the bottom of the truck still has oil. They proceed to take the truck back a second time and then blame a recall on a gasket on the truck saying that it was GM’s problem. So we sit here waiting for 3 months on a claim from GM to be told they denied our claim. Now North county GMC wants us to take our truck back or sale it back to them for 60,000 dollars. They left both sides of our driveway filled with oil stains that will never come out, 3 months with no truck o wait but they offered a Nissan sentra for a rental. Not even a truck or even a car with equal or greater value. Good luck with getting your expensive vehicles serviced there and dealing with there admin. They are all a joke from there head of director down to the mechanic who left an oil drain plug loose . Highly recommend staying away from this dealership More

Between the time I called and arrived, Victoria had somehow managed to forget my name but passed me over to Navid. Navid was pleasant enough but opened with stating he sold Cadillacs rather than GMC. The truck was what I had expected after looking on the web site and viewing the details of the truck on the site. Everything looked good until I started poking at the price. Between dealer "REQUIRED" options and markup, the price went up $15,000 from what was presented on the site. I balked at the price and even more so balked at the idea that dealer added options for paint protection, window protection and tracking were required by GMC. The markup was justified by saying there's a shortage and it's the only way they can keep a truck on the lot. After getting my name wrong several times, I was left waiting for basic pricing information for over 10 minutes and decided enough was enough. The dealership had shown themselves to be inconsiderate and greedy. This was overall an absolute waste of my time. More
I have purchased 3 new cars at North County. The main reason is the service department and Todd, I don't want to take my vehicles anywhere else. I can call Todd and he gets me in right away for general reason is the service department and Todd, I don't want to take my vehicles anywhere else. I can call Todd and he gets me in right away for general maintenance and makes sure I get everything checked out that it needs depending on my mileage. I don't have to keep track of anything, Todd does it for me. He is easy to talk to and explains everything in a way I understand. I'm the type of person that if I don't feel that I was treated right I won't go back. If I'm spending my money, then I better be happy. I've been going to GMC service center for a long time. More
I would do zero starts if possible from the start they are scammers i bought the extra warranty More than 4 grand every time I have called they have had some exclusion on that not being covered was sold b are scammers i bought the extra warranty More than 4 grand every time I have called they have had some exclusion on that not being covered was sold bumper to bumper warranty Melanie was the original sales person she said the warranty would be zero deductible then when I get I There they have it as 100$ deductible i refused since Melanie said specifically it would be 0$ any a charge if done at another dealership which would have been a blessing to go to in the first place. Look at any of my reviews I never come one and bash any business but stay clear and never purchase the extend warranty. Then they said I have to pay 170 to diagnose it which I already told them the code and problem this is not how a bigger dealership should definitely do business again look at any of my reviews I don't pull Karen's but watch out for these scammers. Melanie especially. More
A very good repair experience I had issues with A/X and RR tail light (persistent issue). These were known issues and GMC covered repairs for both. I dropped the vehicle off, repairs were made, and I picked it up the next day. Larry S., as always was attentive and helpful. The vehicle works great again. More
We have bought three GMC trucks, none of them from San Diego. Their strong arm tactics and poor response from inquiries left a sour taste in my mouth again. My wife loves their service department but it i Diego. Their strong arm tactics and poor response from inquiries left a sour taste in my mouth again. My wife loves their service department but it is unlikely I will ever feel comfortable there again. I still haven’t bought a truck and they still have two there. No response from my emails. Oh well. I will try again up North. Such a hassle and not a good business practice. More

Terribly Poor customer service by Service We have been to see Larry at NC GMC about 10 times now with the same problems of a water leak from the windshield area and reoccurring complete power We have been to see Larry at NC GMC about 10 times now with the same problems of a water leak from the windshield area and reoccurring complete power outages in our 2015 Yukon XL. Even though I would feel like we have been there enough, every time it seems like you're starting from scratch with these guys. Larry talks to my wife like she's an idiot and asks me stupid questions like "do you know what a pinch weld is"? Talks down to customers and has a laissez-fair approach to any real problems you are having with the vehicle. He continues to document our concerns incorrectly in their system and has even made things up and documented them in the dealer records, despite several attempts by us to correct. Larry's first goal is to try to convince you that whatever is wrong should not be covered under warranty, even if it's a factory windshield leak going back before we purchased it and then lying to our face about it and wanting to spend money installing a new one. His favorite phrase is: "we could not replicate the problem". The best part is when they bother having their own customer service people call you for a review and you tell them they are awful, you still won't get a followup by anyone in management. Sad state of affairs for a dealership selling "luxury cars" More

Within that time period they let my wife drive away with a check engine light "on", 4 different times after picking it up. By the fourth time picking up the vehicle, (still with a "check engine light" on) I took my car somewhere else. My service rep, "Larry", sucks. He would call for me to pick up my vehicle and tell me, "its all set to go." (Even after I question if the light is still on) Larry would not give me a break down of my bill over the phone. His response to my question was, "Labor and parts not covered under warranty." I repeated the question 5 times and the same response was given. I would think a dealership would take a little more pride in their product and their customers. This place is the toilet bowl of dealerships. More
