Straight forward and easy transaction This was the most transparent car transaction I have ever had. Karen and I spoke on the phone about what I was looking for (4Runner TRD Pro) and told her what color I was looking for. She told me she had one in stock and would get back to me with a price. I had done my homework as best I could and had the “not a penny more price” settled in my head and the “Go there and buy it now!” price which happened to be well under invoice. I was expecting to get a price more in the not a penny more range but she gave me a price right at my take it and run price. I told her I would be there in a few hours. When I arrived she pulled the car out of the showroom and we test drove it. When done she encouraged me to look over the car and make note of any issues (it’s a 2019 so it’s been on the lot several months). Found two minor cosmetic blemishes and she arranged to have them fixed gratis without any fuss. So I’m sitting in her office waiting for the finance/transaction part of things to take place thinking this is where the penny will drop and a bunch of additional charges will appear. when I look at the paperwork it’s just the price and TT&L. Nothing more. Finance guy asks “do you want to know about the extended warranty?” I reply no. There’s no pressure to buy extra stuff at all. I cut a check and we are done. This was the most straightforward transaction I have ever had buying a car. I wish all sales representatives operated like Karen. I may have bought a car but Karen and folks like her purchase customer loyalty. This dealership is a ways away from my house but I will get my service done here simply because of the loyalty she cultivated with this encounter. Thank you Karen and Cowboy Toyota. More
